Yellow Ruffle Henley + TBB Linkup

I love adding a few new pieces to my closet each spring and summer especially when it is as happy and sweet as this little top!  After reorganizing my closet I realized yellow was definitely missing from my selection so I snatched up this cutie as soon as it was on sale.  Little tops like this are my favorite because they work well worn casually with a pair of jeans or shorts but can easily be paired with a skirt and jacket for work.

Ruffles are tricky for me.  Perfectly placed and they are adorable but often times they end up making me look heavier on top.  The details on this top are perfect and don’t overwhelm my shape.

Yellow is just the happiest color don’t you agree?  It work so well with other colors too like blues, greens and even purple.  I’m kind of partial to wearing it with leopard print too!  I just love how this outfit came together and I received so many compliments throughout the day which is always a sure sign it was a good choice!
