Two Target Treasures
I have to admit I am still a little bit of a novice when it comes to shopping the clothes section at Target. Don’t get me wrong, I love some Target, but I have just never scored too many wins in the fashion department. That is until this fall. You guys, Target has been knocking it out of the park this fall.
I happened in a few weeks back and ran across this adorable faux suede dress. The same week the Cartwheel app was also running 25% off all women’s clothes!! Scored this cutie for less than $20!
I’m still not 100% positive about it but thought I would show you guys a few looks and see what you think. I seriously love my height and love having long legs but sometimes it poses a bit of a challenge with dresses. Not sure this would work for work.
A little more business casual with this jacket and my fave Kimberly necklace.
Ignore the super serious face and just imagine this ensemble on a hot date night. Once I got passed the hubby asking what kind of fake fox I was wearing I’m sure the date would be hot! Ha!
For a more casual look, say even for a family gathering on Thanksgiving day, I added some of my favorite pieces to dress this down a bit. I love this gold gingham top and you can visit Tara Lynn’s Boutique and receive 15% off your entire order with the code Gold. I cannot say enough about this top and there is plenty of other goodness there.
Code GOLD for 15% off
Code GOLD for 15% off
So what do you think? Is this dress a keeper?
Y’all…I LOVE this hat but I must confess I still have not been daring enough to wear it out and about. I’m totally going to soon though!
This open cardigan was the second find, also using the 25% Cartwheel coupon. This I have totally worn several times already.
My sweet friend Holly gave me this little bag for my birthday. It is so fun and the perfect size to hold my phone, lipstick and keys but also fits nicely in a larger purse.
I’m loving this layered look over a sleeveless striped swing dress with my favorite fringe scarf.
I was not able to find the fun little dress online but everything else is linked below.

Love the different combos! So many cute outfits (and that green cardi is perfect – they should use you in the ad because it doesn't look nearly as cute on their website!!!).
Love all the outfits you made!! I'm 5'10 and always have a problem with dresses looking like shirts. Lol!

Target is one of my favorite places to shop (especially the clearance rack!). I absolutely love this dress and cardigan! I also have long legs so I am with you on having trouble finding dresses long enough. Sometimes if I love it enough, I just through on super thick tights or leggings underneath!
I saw this dress in our Target, but it was in teal. I almost tried it on, but was worried about the capped sleeves for winter. I know I could layer, but at the time, I couldn't think of what I had to layer it with. I loved the scalloped and cut out bottom of it. Suede is so popular right now, too!
As always…you look amazing! Happy thanksgiving my friend
Wow! Shelly, you look amazing! Each look is fab! I didn't realize target had such great clothes. Thanks so much for sharing! GOD bless you, Love! 🙂
omg wear the sh!t out of that hat, you look stunning it in!!! serioulsy!
I'm LOVING that cardigan on you!
Confessions of a Frumpy Mommy
I absolutely love the dress. I would keep it, but wear it with with leggings or tights because of the shorter length; especially if worn to work or church, but if your out on a date with hubby I wouldn't. The cardigan is amazing too! Love the color!
Love both of your looks! The top dress is amazing, and the green plaid in the second is stunning.

Absolutely in love with the green plaid cardigan!!

I am still shocked at how soft it is as many I picked up have been scratchy. Thanks Darcy…have a super week!
Thanks for hosting Carrie!
Thanks Elise! I'm loving the cardigan for sure….still on the fence about the dress. Have a great week.
Tights might be a good option…I need to make a decision soon before it's too late to return it. 🙂 I am loving the cardigan though. Thanks for the input!
Seriously almost peed my pants reading this!!
Thank you so much for commenting Tai! Hope you had a blessed holiday.
Thank you Kimm! Hope you had a super holiday.
Oh teal….how cute that would be with a mustard cardi and a cute scarf!! I have been wanting something suede something awful but still not positive this is it. Have a super week!
Thanks Mary. I think I may try it with tights and see if I feel a little more comfortable with it. I love the color and have so been wanting something faux suede.
I'm only 5'7" but I am mostly legs so I always end up with this issue. Because I'm so short waisted it doesn't help to buy tall sizes either. Hope you are having a great week!
Right?! Had I not seen Katy wearing it I totally would not have tried it.
