WIWW – Photo Dump!

·
I’ll admit it….I didn’t have anything specific in mind today.  The temps are still hot in Texas but with the school year starting I’m really dreaming about fall clothes but unfortunately still wearing all the same summer clothes!  Today I’m sharing summer outfits that missed a post of their own!

{Work Wear}

I’ve had this skirt from White House Black Market for several years.  I have always worn it exactly as purchased with a black tank and black jacket.  I was super excited one morning when I decided to try something new and paired this skirt with a softened denim shirt.  I love the way it turned out!  Of course my Star Mela clutch made the outfit really come together.

 {Casual Friday}

The J. Crew Factory popover is one of my favorites for a pulled together but casual look.  I added my Michael Kors flats for a pop of color and again the clutch make the outfit.

These pants are like butter and seriously makes me feel like I’m wearing pjs to work!  Similar pair from my friends at Burlap & Pearls here & here.

{Girls Night or Date Night}

For hot summer days or nights a lightweight dress is a perfect option.  I purchased this one several years back from my friends at Burlap & Pearls.    See all dresses they have here.  Sandy is great to work with!
I actually even pulled this off on a casual Friday at work by adding the vest.

Most days it is too hot to add a scarf but as we get closer to fall adding a scarf to an outfit can be a perfect way to dress it up a little from the same old everyday.  Fun note, the first time I wore this scarf it caught on fire while I was cooking dinner! I learned to knot it a little higher for sure.

{Weekend Wear}

I’m really sad because I cannot find what in the world I did with this cute t-shirt.  A fun tee like this one from Lucky Brand paired with a pair of colorful shorts is all you need for a bright weekend.
This tank from Loft is so lightweight and perfect for hot summer. It is a little bit flowy so it doesn’t cling when the sweat starts to pour either.
J. Crew Factory shorts for the win once again.  I pretty much have worn them exclusively this summer along with the Sam Edelman Gig sandals.
Happy Wednesday!  Visit here to see where I’m linking up today.

    1. You are so sweet Andrea! I'm ready for a little cooler weather for sure. We have had a little break the past two days with some clouds and a little rain. Have a great weekend!

  2. I don't mind the photo dump at all. I should do the same since I have a ton of unposted outfits. Love love the first two outfits and the one with the pink shorts. So many cute pieces you own, Shelly.

    Happy Wednesday Gorgeous Mamma!

    1. Thanks Kimm….I assure you not ALWAYS! I have been eating and drinking too often and I'm so fluffy right now it's ridiculous. Ready to get back on track with a steady schedule at the gym, in the kitchen when school starts!

  3. Each and every look is adorable, Shelly, but I think my favorite would have to be the first look. Love the skirt and the way you've paired it with your denim shirt and your bag is fabulous!
