Camo & Plaid
I love my camo pants but still struggle when pulling an outfit together. It is still rather warm in Texas too but feeling like fall so I decided to combine a little fall plaid scarf with my camo for a girls night last week. As soon as I put it together I knew it would be one of my new favorites!
Adding a pair of booties I love even though I’m not 100% positive whether I am pulling off the pants roll correctly. Of coruse a cross body always makes things a little easier for girls night out and this one has been a favorite since it arrived last March.
The weather is just now getting to the point the temps are cool in the morning and late evening. Combine that with the fact restaurants are often cold and the addition of a denim jacket pulls the outfit together.
So much fabulousness my lady! Love this mix and what a great cuff with a great reminder!! You look cute as can be!!
Love this outfit!!! 🙂

I have some camo pants I found in my closet but am not sure they will fit. I need a pair of skinny ones. Love yours how you styled them. The colors of the plaid scarf are so cute and I love your jewelry. Cool story about that awesome cuff. Always a pleasure being here.
Welcome by. <3 Ada.
Thanks Ada….I love mine but should have ordered a size down for sure.
My fringe back was absolutely perfect for $28 back in the spring! I am going to be sad when it wears out.
Thanks for your continued support Kimm…means so much!!
Thanks Jaymie!
Thanks Andrea….I seriously think this cuff is going to be in the rotation alot!
I have a pair of blue (think Navy) came pants I got on clearance (yay!) this summer at Nordstrom but I am not sure how to style them?? Suggestions? I have been wearing navy tops with them but I wanted to try something fun. I am not adventurous at all. I always feel that since I am on the bigger size (14) its hard to style me! Any suggestions I would appreciate! Thanks!
Love this casual outfit! I think your pants are rolled just fine. Did you see the comment I made about your cuff on IG last night?! #badass
I'm commenting on this question because I want to follow Shelly's answer. I don't think I've ever seen navy camo pants before. Mine are more brown than green/olive.
Haha..yes mam I did! I really think it will see alot of wrist time. I need to STOP buying them!! I need to find a way to store them now because my current stand is all full.
Laura….I think I commented to Kim outside of disqus so I'm adding here! While black looks okay I really have loved pairing mine with melon and red in the past. I honestly think I would also consider a floral pattern if it was the right one. Kim…I think grey would also look great with yours paired with a floral scarf. Add a jacket once it gets a little cooler at night or a lightweight cardigan during the day. 14 is NOT big! I think you dress your figure very well
They are the neatest pants! They are like the camo the navy wears. And I love them ! They're Nordstrom Caslon brand — but I love that idea of grey with a floral scarf!! Thanks Shelly! And thanks for the kind words! I had done so good losing at start of year and this summer I haven't gained but not lost either. So now that the wedding is done we are hitting it hard again!
Love the boots! And the camo. I NEED one of those cuffs! I drifted outta my lane Mon.
Here from Waiting on Wednesday.
I'm not sure how disqus works and if Shelly will see this, but I wanted to give her time to answer you first since you asked her directly and it's her blog, but when I saw your question, I immediately thought of a burgandy blouse. However, I'm not quite sure the "pattern" of your navy camos, so that might not look good, but I think navy and burgandy/maroon/marsala go well together. That's my two cents for the day!
You can hijack my blog anytime Laura!
It's a chronic problem for me! Thanks for stopping by.
Such fun print mixing!

they look more grey here but they are navy.
Oh yea! Definitely gray or burgundy! Send Shelly a pic! Or post on IG for us to see!!
I need to take your advice and stay in my own lane, Shelly!! HA!
