What I Wore Wednesday – Style Six
It’s true, this is already the 2nd Wednesday fo 2020! What I wore Wednesday was once a weekly post here on the blog and lucky for you I’m fresh out of photo shoots and new outfits. Here are a few of the cozy favorites I’ve been wearing lately.
Colored jeans are a favorite of mine becuase I feel like I can get away with them at work on days I don’t have any meetings. I really love how the mauve sweater pairs with the olive jeans and of course the snakeskin booties complete the look!
This tee has been a longtime favorite. I’m fairly confident this is at leat the 4th year I’ve worn it. It is such a great quality and has held up so nicely even through lots of washing. I decided to top it with a vest I use to wear tons but literally didn’t wear once last year. It’s so darling but just not sure it’s a thing anymore. Trying to decided if it should stay or go.
Is there anything easier than pulling together an outfit base of black on black? It’s seriously my go when I am in a time crunch and/or just not feelign so great about myself. Create it with some leggings and I don’t feel quite as fluffy! Of course this adorable cardigan won me a giftcard!
I’m fairly picky about long cardigans but decided to give this one a quick try becuase I loved the color. It is so cute y’all! I’ve worn it a ton with leggings but also pair with dress pants for work. This scarf and sweater combo is just so darn cozy!!
I also love these slip on shoes and have worn them a ton over the break. They have been very comfortable and the only thing I don’t love is how much my feet sweat in them.
Talk about another piece that hass been hanging around a bit. I know I wore it in NYC 6 years ago so it has at leat been around that long! It is a bit stretched out around the bottom band so I really should toss it but every time I think I’ll just give it one more spin I remember how much I like it.
My fave new jeans are these high rise Madewell skinnies. They are my first pair of high rise jeans in some time and, while they aren’t super stretchy, they are comfortable and manage to hold a little extra holiday fluff in place!
This little vest has probably been my fave splurge! I have not added a vest in several years but decided it was time. I adore this plaid and have been wearing it tons!
