Wearing Lately – Style Six

It’s back to business as usual, or maybe I should say the new normal of business as usual! I am back to working in the office and my favorite part about it may be getting dressed every day. While the university as a whole is only at a max 50% employees, I really feel my building is operating more at about 25%. I rarely see another soul as I come and go so, while I am dressing up a little more than I was working from home, it has still been on the casual side too.
So here is what I’ve been wearing lately!
My friend Kellyann showed off this dress in her Old Navy haul a few weeks ago and I fell in love only to find it was out of stock. Flash forward a few and I saw it pop up in an ad on my instagram feed so I popped over to check it out and there it was!! Note…I headed straight back to Kellyann’s page and clicked through her link so she would get a little credit for finding it in the first place! This may seem like a small gesture (and beleive me the credit is small) but us influencers really, really appreciate it when you shop with us!
Anyway, as you can see it was a keeper! It is the perfect summer dress and my favorite neckline will always be a win. I really do think I will be able to toss on a white jacket and wear to the office anytime as well. So while it is sold out again, I’ve linked several in the same style in other patterns.
And how about this new clutch I grabbed from Noonday collection? It was the perfect accessory to add a little more bunch to this outfit.
This little dress I grabbed at a local boutique for $50 and I have worn it at least once a week every week since. It is so lightweight and a perfect for summer. The website says they still have one medium left in this darling look but they have lots of cute stuff to choose from including this darling cheetah print top marked down to $20!
Last year Caite and Kyla gifted me this dress and it is still going strong. The quality embroidery and fabric from this brand is a definite favorite. The brand is a little pricey but the quality makes up for it and you can receive 20% off with the code QUEEN.
Do you have pieces in your closet that you just have a hard time parting with? Well this dress is one of those for me. I have never worn it when I don’t receive at least one compliment but it is probably 4 years old! I pulled it out last week and am still trying to decide if it’s time nto go.
My gym reopened and I’ve been trying to make it for some weight training sessions and one thing that helps my motivation is new workout clothes! I ordered a few new tanks from Target and cannot get enough of them. I’m also trying to wear more shorts (cue Texas heat) but have a really hard time finding the right length. These are several years old from Athleta and while I love them they do not have the same style. I ordered this pair from Lululemon this week to try so I’ll keep you posted. The goal is for my thighs not to eat them!
Lastly is this work look that really had me feeling so back to normal. I love these dress pants and grabbed them back in February but have not had a chance to wear them. They also came from a local boutique but are Kut from Kloth brand and I love them but have not been able to find them anywhere for you. I did see my favorite KK jean is on sale!
