Walking on Sunshine – Spring Fashion
The Blended Blog prompt for today is all about spring fashion and makeup and nothing screams spring fashion to me more than bright colors! After spending all winter looking at dead grass and winter shades, adding some pops of color, such as yellow, has me feeling like I’m walking on sunshine!
Skirt (similar)
I first ordered this skirt in February and it was a tad snag across the hips so I returned and it took me several weeks of patiently waiting for it to turn up again in the next size online. I’m so glad it did because it is just too fun!
Gingham Button Down|Gingham Short Sleeve Popover
The first time I wore, I paired with a simple chambray button down but last week I saw this gingham hanging in my closet and decided to give it a whirl. I’m pretty sure I had instant heart eyes when this outfit came together!
Leopard Sandal (similar)
Pattern mixing is my favorite so adding these leopard sandals was a no brainer! I love these Ugg sandals and even after two years of wearing they are still in great shape. This year I did end up adding these foot petals for the ball of my feet but ever since they have been like new. Mine are sold out but I’m loving this lower heeled wedge. Every year I say I’m going to go ahead and order myself this pair of Sam Edelmans but so far I have not pulled the trigger.
Star Mela Clutch (similar splurge here, and save here, here)
Two summers ago I purchased this colorful little clutch as a reward to myself for making it through the stress of the NCAA baseball playoffs! It has definitely added some character to many outfits ever since and I still receive compliments every time I carry it.
Don’t all these colors together just make you feel happy?!! I finally broke down and ordered another Renegade bracelet from Stella & Dot this past month and I have pretty much worn it daily since receiving. Working at a computer all day means no time for bracelets that bang and this stretchy one is just perfect. Through May 15th when you purchase 2 bracelets at regular price you will receive 50% off the third!
Yep, the day I wore this ensemble I definitely felt like I was walking on sunshine! Spring fashion is so much fun!

I looooveee your skirt!! I have the top version of it, but I so wish I had the skirt too!
Brooke
Pumps and Push-Ups
I debated which to snag Brooke…both are so fun!
Oh my word, I want to raid your closet. SO stinking cute! It’s funny I was considering the pattern mixing post I did today and I saw your post last week and thought, yup, I totally have to go for it. Now you pull off this look with that gorgeous mustard skirt. I think I need a gingham top just like yours, I am almost certain of it.
You are so funny! You definitely have alot more style than you give yourself credit for girly.
I’m obsessed with your leopard wedges!!! I love all things leopard print and I love comfy wedges! I have a few pairs of those Sam Edelman sandals and my next purchase will be those leopard ones!
MeetTheShaneyfelts
Aren’t they fun? I snagged them on clearance at Dillards two years ago and have definitely gotten my moneys worth.
You had me at gingham, need I say more? Love the skirt, clutch, and shoes too! Fun outfit!

Thanks B!
This outfit looks great on you, and those shoes, swoon! Now I think I want those sandals too, they are so cute!!! I might have to pull the trigger, hehe. I wonder if they are comfortable as they look…I do need a summer shoe…leopard is a neutral I will get a ton of wear out of them…hehe. #girllogic
Girl math!! I’m not sure I could survive without the price per wear model!
This is the prettiest look! Love the patterns and textures – and hello fab clutch!!

Thank you Laura!
I love the color of this skirt, and the whole outfit is perfect. I wish I could wear shoes like those!
I’m sure I will pay someday Lana! I just love wearing heels but wedges have definitely replaced my pumps for the most part these days.
yay, that is a total summery look. I love the leopard sandals paired with it!
The leopard was a last minute choice…I was super excited with how it turned out.
This is such a fun skirt! I agree, bright colors just make me think of spring. You look fabulous! Beautifully Candid
Every season I find myself saying “this is my favorite” and it’s always when I put a fun outfit together. Thanks Sierra!
I love the gingham with the yellow! So cute and fun.
Perspective
Thank you Carolyn…definitely think I will be repeating this look!
This is so cute together! I ordered that skirt and the top too but decided the color wasn’t right for me. Wish I would have thought outside of the box a little!
Stacey…if you haven’t looked lately they actually have a similar top in a pretty turquoise.
What a bright and happy combination! Pretty sure I would have defaulted to the chambray too, but this was worth branching out for 🙂
Thank you Anne….that’s exactly how I felt about this pairing. Isn’t it easy to stick with our comfort zone?
Cute! Cute! I just got some leopard print flats! Love them! Thanks for sharing!
Sherry I so need a pair of leopard flats! The pair I loved from Target finally threw in the towel.
I love all these elements together! Gingham and blue, mustard and cutouts. And a dash of leopard print! Great outfit girlie 🙂

Thanks Ada! I really was pleased with this combo.
I love those colors together! I’m all about the gingham for summer!
Same here Lindsay, and this gingham top is more of a linen blend so it definitely is cool enough. Hope you are having a beautiful weekend!
I like this look and the sandals, especially how you mixed patterns.
Thanks you Nailil!
