Vacation Vibes – Style Six
Last week I spent my time split between hiking in Utah and playing in Las Vegas with my girls. While we had some items we wanted to check off, we also had a fairly relaxed timeline and that meant a fairly. relaxed wardrobe. I’m sharing some vacation vibes with my looks from last week for this weeks Style SIx!
First off we headed out to hike Bryce Canyon and Zion National Park for a few days in Utah. It was an amazing time and so much scenery that just takes your breath away. My ‘Be Kind’ tank paired with my lulu shorts was the perfect combo to keep me cool and comfortable on the trail. I also added a pair of hiking shoes to my closet and chose the Merrell brand and they have been a win for me. No blisters on any of my hikes and they dried super quick after trekking through the river in Zioin.
On our way back to Las Vegas, we stopped to check out the Seven Magic Mountains art installation. It was so hot y’all and I literally felt like my entire body was covered in a layer of dirt by the time we got back to our car. This is one of those fun things that is worth the stop if you are driving by but I’m not sure it would be a destination point for me in 100+ temps otherwise. I definitely kept cool in one of my fave swing dresses from last year and of course these sandals that work with any look.
I decided if I was going to be brave and put on a two piece there was no better place than Las Vegas right? Last year I picked up a pair of black high waisted bottoms and this little top from old navy gave it a whole new look for only $12! We only spent one day at the pool which and it was a win. My coverup is also from last year but still a favorite as was the frozen mimosa!
Another fun outing with my girls included an hour browsing the Neon Graveyard where old neon signs live on. I’ve shared this little white dress before and it’s such a good one and has alternated between in stock and sold out in all colors. This white one still shows available in Large and XL right now but this one by the same brand is still fully stocked in 3 colors including white.
Finally, I wore these shorts multiple times because they are my new favorite! I received them in my latest Stitch Fix and they are the perfect amount of stretch wtih a lightweight fabric. They are a pricier short but price per wear I am getting my moneys worth! I love trying new brands with Stitch Fix and you can get $25 your first fix if you are interested here! You can’t beat tossing on an $8 tee in a fun print or solid and calling it a day.
So, have you been on vacation. yet this summer? I’d love to hear all the details! It feels good to get out and about again. Be sure to share your fave vacation or summer looks today with Style Six!
