Red, White & Blue and Baseballs Too!
Updating to join Erika and Andrea for their Favorite Things party and all things Red, White & Blue! Sharing my 4th of July decorations and a few red, white & blue inspired finds from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale!
I always love pulling out my red, white & blue decorations and typically do so in mid May but this year with all that has been going on it was still birds nest and spring flowers until this past weekend. I always start by decorating the mantel since it is the space I will see the most.
I always have this memo board in the kitchen and Carly has taken it upon herself lately to change it up for me. I thought she did a super job! I love pulling out my red dishes too.
It always makes me feel like my house is a little warmer when I change things up a bit. How do you get in the spirit to celebrate America? The Nordstrom Anniversary sale is still going on through August 2nd…..here are a few red, white & blue picks!
Halogen Flats – I bought these in a leopard print and they are adorable!

This is so darn cute! I LOVE it all… I am hoping to start my 4th of July decorating today! 🙂 You have inspired me!
The rest of my house is in complete disarray….glad I have something cute to focus on!
Love all your decorations – especially the baseballs! When Kim used sand in her vases, I must admit, it was a complete duh moment for me. Seriously – I would have NEVER thought to do that but it looks SO good!!! Great job! Now you've got me itching to get out the red, white and blue!!!
The rest of my house is a chaotic mess but it made me feel so good to change out some decorations. Having your son move all his crap home from college is always an experience!
I love that wreath! Looks like my next project for the summer! 🙂
Thanks Suzy! It was super easy.
Everything looks so festive! When I put my red, white and blue out, I thought, Ok this stuff is staying out til the end of July. I like that it can be for all summer, not just fourth of July. I love the baseballs too since it such a big part of y'all lives.
Ummm. I need that banner. And that wreath! So cute!!! Kim inspired me to update my mantle, too – post coming tomorrow! 🙂
What festive, pretty decor! I love the baseballs and that wreath? So lovely!
Thank you!
I'm not sure how I can be a military wife and not have a spectacular collection of patriotic decor 🙂 Nor have a mantel and not decorate it! Hobby Lobby–Here I Come! Thanks for the inspiration!
Hobby Lobby is always there to save the day! Good luck
I love seeing patriotic decor in other people's homes! Your flag wreath is beautiful! I put out my patriotic stuff before Memorial Day and it will stay up through a few weeks in July. Stopping by from Tuesday Talk – have a great day!
I LOVE LOVE LOVE it! So cute. Those red, white and blue spheres are so awesome! I am so glad you were inspired. Honestly, some days you just need God to reassure you and today he used you to do that for me. Feeling joyful for your precious mantel. It's the little things friend!
I feel ya….my brain has been so fried the past month I could not have pulled together a post if my life depended on it. I'm grateful I was able to realize I just needed a break. Have a great week!
Love all you decorations… So American. The baseballs might be my favorite thing.
Thank you! I really love them too and can't believe it had never crossed my mind. Love this blogging community!

Thanks you Jessie! Have a great week!
We're in the UK and have never had a need to celebrate 4th July before. However this year my very good friend from Pittsburgh and her family are coming over for an all American cookout. I'm so excited and am making a wreath, have flag bunting and am going to town on the red white and blue. Love your vintage looking baseballs! Have a great summer!
How thoughtful of you to do something so sweet for a friend! I am positive she will appreciate it. Have a great time!
Your house is all ready for the 4th. Love the baseball balls – so cute, sporty and creative. I also love that you stuck the flags inside the mason jars, very nice. =)
Happy 4th Shelly!
Thank you Ada! I wish I could take full credit but my friend Kim inspired me!
I love all of your touches! And I agree, it does make a house feel warmer when you switch things up!
What lovely decorations!! I think the baseballs are the perfect American touch for the Fourth, and I love that burlap flag banner! 🙂
I love ALL of your decorations! And I am totally using baseballs and sand next year….both are GENIUS!
