The Queen’s Chronicles

·
First month of the year is in the books and we are already a week into February.  This will be our last week of basketball but baseball and 7 on 7 have started to heat up so no rest for the weary!  Super busy month ahead for me at work too so we re all going to do our best to hang in there and help each other out!
Any of you have this issue?
You would think maybe I was out running errands or something but he was actually texting me from just across the house.  Lucky for him I found everything he needed already in our school supply stash.
Little miss got new glasses this week and I have to say she looks so much older in these!  Not sure but they may have just made her a tad sassier too!
I saw this and had to share with both of my girls because….um…yeah so true.
This one often just rolls out of bed and is ready to walk out the door when for basketball practice.  He was definitely having an interesting hair day!  I was cracking up.
A McJanac dinner and everyone was so happy to be together!
Saturday we traveled to Wharton for family pictures….it was a beautiful day but a tad windy!!  Poor Jordan has the most beautiful long hair but it was not loving the wind.
I was a super excited auntie because this little man chose to sit by me at dinner!  He did such a super job taking pictures and I was so proud of him.
Back to College Station and I was stocking up to watch the super bowl….flowers for me and beer for ….well the beer was really for we.  We seriously had guacamole, cheese dip and beef fajitas.  Keith made bacon wrapped little smokies for a little appetizer but that was as fancy as we were getting!
Keith & I were snuggling and this dude was so mad at me.  He would barely even look at me because we were making him snuggle with Carly and he is such a mommas boy!
This boy jumped in for some big chair snuggles when his dad let the chair unoccupied.  How in the world did this kid get so big??
It was a fun night watching the Super Bowl together and laughing at the commercials.
And here is a little teaser from the photo shoot with my mom.  She is going to be over the moon to have this picture with her grand babies!
This is one of those weeks I will need to hit the ground running!!  Wishing you all a super week.

  1. I love the family picture! Are you still doing your early morning routine – getting up at 4:45 a.m.? I have been so busy between work and home and am trying do something similar. Just wondering if you have been able to keep it up….

  2. Text from Dillon about needing "stuff for project" brought back SOOOO many memories!!!!! Love the picture of the grandkids and your mom!!!

  3. That text from Dillon is so funny because that was always me! Except when I was that age there wasn't texting and I had to walk down to an angry mom to tell her!! And i'm assuming he put "My favorite" because my brothers do that to my mom too!! Also, I LOVE that family picture!!

  4. It was sooooo crazy! I was so bummed because it distracted me just enough that I didn't ask for all the things i wanted to do. Oh well…hard enough with that big of a group and hopefully we got some pictures that will make my momma happy!

  5. Well…I am still getting up early every single morning but it has been more like 5:15-5:30 instead of 4:45. I do feel like I have been able to get so much more done even on the days I head to workout at 5:30. I definitely have felt less rushed but if you ask Carly Jo she will still tell you that I do not get her to school early enough! haha

  6. The wind was a huge distraction and between that and the number of people I failed to ask for any of the things I really wanted…so a little bummed but hopeful we got enough to work for Nana. Oh…and as always I ended up hating what I wore and should have stuck with my original plan!!

  7. What the heck?? You can remember what you were wearing?? I am lucky if I remember what I wore to work yesterday. lol…..I cannot believe one of your "little's" is already going to HS.
