The Queen’s Chronicles – Week 40
Our week started off with a quick trip to Austin and ended hosting good friends for the weekend!
Since Keith works in Austin we were able to get away for a date night during my workshop. Love downtown Austin!
Dutch was excited to head to playcare on Wednesday and it is seriously all he can do to keep his eyes open on the way home!
I could get use to a two day work week! I took off Friday and headed to Round Top with these girls for a little shopping.
This year I didn’t have anything specific in mind I was searching for so it was more about having fun. I am always on the lookout for J’s as they are typically hard to find. I decided to add the number 6 for our family when I found this one. I also totally fell in love with this pillow cover when I saw it! It just immediately made me think of me & Keith. I’ve been dying to find a tassel necklace and I totally love this one.
Riley sent this to me on Friday and I totally cracked up! I can totally see this happen to Dutch!
My friend Kaki and her family arrived Friday evening and we had a super day on Saturday tailgating and watching the Aggies BTHO Mississippi State!
These two are the bones behind our tailgates this year…..we are the silent partners!
Love these girls to pieces! They are so hilarious together and keep us laughing.

These boys are growing up too darn fast!
Carly & Holden did a great job keeping these sweet little girls entertained during the game!
One of these games I’m going to get a decent family picture! For now this really portrays the way we really are most of the time.
Sunday my mother-in-law invited us to a home cooked meal and nothing says Sunday dinner like seeing fried squash, fresh tomatoes and cucumber salad on the table!
Then the hubby made this for dinner so I was two for two on eating well and not having to lift a finger!
Carly & I took a long walk with Dutch after dinner.
And then I ended the day painting these sweet little toes and watching some old episodes of Fixer Upper.
This week my oldest baby turns 25!! How is that even possible?!! Looking forward to a little celebrating.
Hope you all have a super week!
Your weekend looks like a blast!! Lots of good friends, family and food – just the way I like it! Also, thanks for the tip about getting 50% off at KS on your birthday month! Now I have a little extra something to look forward to besides getting older!

Isn't that the truth? I keep seeing pictures of myself and thinking what the heck…I'm still 28 in my mind! Have a super week Gina.
