The Queen’s Chronicles – Visiting Nana

The Queen’s Chronicles is a chance for me to create a little scrapbook of our weeks around here and this weekend Miss Haisley took a little daytrip to visit Nana so it was definitley worth documenting.

My grandpup Pesto made the trip with me too! Jordan and her boyfriend were also coming for the weekend to see the grands from her dads side but they made a little side trip to Newman’s Castle in Bellville and pups were not allowed. If you are in the the area it’s a fun little jaunt.

Riley and Taylor drove down for the day to visit both sets of great grands. Haisley Grace had a fun time exploring all of her dads fave things including banging out some tunes on the piano. Funny how this annoyed me when it was my kids doing it but it was like music to my hears from her! Ha!

She LOVES looking at herself in the phone these days! It’s so darn cute and she gets super tickled with herself.

Best caption for this pic….we tried! Sitting through lunch was alot and she was ready to get moving. So thankful Riley & Taylor both have a strong family pull and have made the effort to make sure the great grands get to know this precious girl.

Sunday supper was a little quiet this week as Jordan and Jonathan had other plans for the super bowl and Dillon is back at school. We took advantage of more time with Haisley. We couldn’t stop gushing over this jumpsuit!!

And we were all shocked when Papa K continued to try to sneak her brownies! Just when I don’t think it’s possible for her to get any cuter she just continues to grow and change and her little personality cracks me up!

For the Love Podcast

I listended to this podcast as Jen visited with Lori Gotleib, author of Maybe You Should Talk to Someone, and it was such a fun listen. If you haven’t read the book it was one of my fave reads from 2020. I actually listened to it on audible and couldn’t get enough.

I’ve been up since 4:30am thanks to my midlife hormones. I even made it to the gym….only to find I’d missed the memo and the gym was apparently closed this morning. Oops! Guess this means I have zero excuse for running late today.

Wishing you all a super week!
