The Queen’s Chronicles – October Birthday Roundup
October is always such a busy month for us but one reason it’s my favorite is I’m pretty much guaranteed to see the faces of my people more often. Jordan, Taylor, Riley, Keith & I all celebrate brithdays this month and, while we didn’t necessarily celebrate on THE day for all of them, we did manage to find a way to spend some time together.
We celebrated Jordan’s 31st birthday with a brunch date at Ozona and it was perfect weather for the patio. I just love this beautiful girl so much and I am so proud of her. It was so fun to catch up and find out all she’s been working on.
Dillon missed all the birthday celebrations as he is off at college but he did come to town for a scrimmage at Olsen Field so I was able to get a quick picture and hug his neck! Not mad about the school colors either as it was an excuse to grab a new gingham shirt!
It was a quiet celebration with just me and these 3 cuties for Riley’s 28th birthday. I’m so happy to have him back in town for a few months. Also….cannot with these cute booties Haisley is wearing!!
I threw my own little celebration for my birthday and ordered Fuzzy Tacos to go for Taco Tuesday. Keith was on a fishing trip in Louisiana for his birthday and we missed Dillon but I loved having these kids with me and of course Haisley keeps us laughing!
Two of my besties also came over to celebrate with me. Don’t know what I’d do without these girls!
Miss Haisley got to come for a sleepover and we did some baking together for the first time. She was more about the cheerios and I’m still amazed we didn’t end up with any in the banana bread but she did master licking the spoon!
Lastly, I was invited to an event for a styled shoot supporting two local businesses. In case you can’t tell, I was definitely the mom of the group! I was so honored to be asked to be part of this. Beaded Blondes is a sweet little jewelry business you definitely want to check out. They are sisters and a mom who had a vision and ran with it. They are about to celebrate one year in business and it has been so fun to watch them grow. If you have an Aggie in your family with an Aggie ring you definitely want to check out the beaded bands and they also have lots of fun stuff for sorority girls. You can use the code Shelly10 for a little discount. Such fun stuff!
The second little business was new to me but I’m now dying to have a reason to book a picnic! Ready Set Picnic is a fun business that will come set up a picnic for you wtih all the darling details. Perfect for a sweet date or a girls get together.
Meanwhile, Keith headed to Austin to watch another fall game and another mom took a picture of the boys to share with me of these two rivals.
We have a little bit of a lower key week but lots of change going on at work for me. I did manage to bribe my kidos into coming over later this week for pumpkin carving and chilli so we are definitely looking forward to that! Time just continues to pass so quickly and I’m determined to make the most of it!
Hope the rest of your week is fabulous!
Such a fun post! And I love that you all are able to carve pumpkins. I just told my kids I will never give up this tradition 🤣
