The Queen’s Chronicles – HOCO 2022
Homecoming is a big deal in Texas and this week was full of so many activities! After a holiday on Monday, it felt super jam packed and there were a few stressful moments but all is well that ends welll right? Here is a little look at my scrapbook for The Queen’s Chronicles – HOCO 2022!
You would think I would have this mum thing down by now, but even after watching a really good tutorial, I’m still on the struggle bus. It looks great until you compare mine to some of the others haha. Considering I made this on Thursday night it was a win!
On Wednesday night there was a community wide pep rally complete with the introduction of the Homecoming court and a pom performance from the strutters and a firework show! Riley, Taylor and Haisley came out to support Carly. Haisley loves her some aunt Car Car.
How cute are these two in their Mama and Mini shirts! Literally cannot get enough of this happy girl.
Friday it was time for another pep rally where the girls performed a hip hop dance. So much energy for HOCO week!
We have a parent tailgate each year before the homecoming game and the girls are able to come out for pictures before the game. I just love seeing her in her uniform! They didn’t actually perform at the game but I love these pregame pics.
Saturday night there is a semi formal “dance” which is held outside and according to Carly it’s lame. Her initial plans fell through and it was a last minute decision to get dressed up and go to take pictures and head to dinner with her friends. This girl was back home and in bed by 9pm.
Sweet times that I am so happy to capture. After losing the end of Dillon’s senior year in 2020, I hold all these moments just a little bit closer and don’t want to miss a thing.
Now we head into another birthday week as we celebrate Riley, me and Keith! It’s a big one and my favorite is having my entire crew together at least once. I’ve requested chilli and pumpkin carving for my birthday and it looks like everyone is going to be able to make it!
Hope you have a super week.
