The Queen’s Chronicles – Happy 21st Birthday!

Yesterday my sweet boy turned 21 and we had the best Sunday funday celebrating him! I’m not going to lie, it made my momma heart so happy that he chose to celebrate with his family. We headed to the most famous bar in town for lunch and our besties joined us. There were burgers and tijuana fries (if you know you know) and a few rounds of pool and dominoes. Of course there was also his first legal beer purchase!

We then migrated to Big Shots Golf to meet up with the remainder of our family and spent a couple of hours playing golf and just being together. Our sweet Haisley was a little shy at first but warmed up quickly and it was so darling that they had kid sized clubs. She was a natural!

The night ended with dinner at one of our fave mexican restaurants as if we had not eaten enough all day! It was honestly just the best day and I hope he felt that same.

Turning 21 is such a right of passage. It’s hard for me to believe another one of my babies has turned 21. My prayer is that my sweet Dillon will embrace the new responsibilities that come with being a year older but also continue to know that mistakes make you better if you will be honest with yourself and accountable for your actions.
