The Queen’s Chronicles – Framily Weekend
Another November weekend has come and gone and I’m keeping track by documenting in The Queen’s Chronicles. If you have a “framily” that has been an extension of your family then you know it was a sweet one!

We started off our weekend like all other fall weekends watching our girl perform at halftime. The cougars won round 1 of the playoffs and will head to round 2 this coming Friday. Big sis came to watch and I found me a cowboy to snuggle up with in the stands!

On Saturday, Carly Jo and I headed out bright and early for San Antonio to meet up with our besties. My friend Holly’s son plays football for UTSA and they are currently one of 3 teams in the nation still undefeated this season. So exciting! We were able to get away and go support the Roadrunners and it was a fun day.

On Sunday we met up for lunch at Chicken-N-Pickle and if you are ever in San Antonio you should definitely add to your list. It has a sports bar feel but lots of stuff to do outdoors like pickle ball, bocce ball, corn hole and they also had some small business vendors set up.

After lunch we split up and Carly Jo and I headed for a little shopping at La Cantera. Any extra time this girl chooses to spend with me I treasure right now and we actually knocked out a few Christmas gifts!
Looking forward to the week ahead, another football game and then a week of Thanksgiving festivities. Are you hosting Thanksgiving this year?
