The Queen’s Chronicles – Christmas Memories
The holidays were so wonderful I’m having a hard time letting them fade away! I almost always take a few days of vacation on the back end of the holidays to do a little work getting my house and my calendar in order to start the year fresh. Today is my last day of vacation and I’m finally parked on the couch binging Emily in Paris in my clean living room!
The Queen’s Chronicles is my way of documenting our happenings and today I’m wrapping up the last of our holiday fun with a few pictures.
This year I really tried to fill my holidays with the gift of my favorite people. Kelli and I have been friends for 28 years this month and we had a fun night with great food and lots of laughs as our gift too one another this year. We vowed to add more of this in 2022.
Christmas morning has gotten quieter at our house but I vowed to make this a Merry Christmas after feeling a bit sorry for myself last year. We enjoyed our time opening gifts, watching Christmas movies and eating our favorite Christmas morning snacks. I always grab chick-fil-a nuggets on Chrstmas Eve to use for mini waffles and they are always a favorite along with a cream cheese butter braid.
If you follow me on Instagram, you might know he wrecked my car the week of Christmas. 2021 was NOT kind to Dillon and he had a really expensive year and for someonoe who doesn’t have a job that means I had a very expensive year! Riley gave him a box of coal for Christmas which we all got a really good laugh about.
My whole heart in one picture. Carly took the whole stay in your pjs on Christmas day more seriously than the rest of us!
Haisley Grace was a darling this Christmas! She is the center of attention when we are together and doesn’t mind one little bit as you can probably tell.
We were also able to celebrarte with my family and had all the grands together. I adore this picture of my mom and Haisley!
By the end of the holidays I think we can all feel a little like this! We could not quit laughing when we looked up and saw Haisley watching us.
I hope 2022 is off to a great start for all of you! I am going to wrap up a few 2021 favorites over the next week and hopefully settle on my word of the year. As soon as I do I will share! I truly treasured 2021 and am looking forward to wath 2022 brings.
