It’ s Friday…it’s the LAST day of school….and that means IT….IS….SUMMER!!
Katy and I hosted a link up last sharing our
Summer Bucket List! We had so many fun bloggers link up and here are three I wanted to share.
Loved
Holly’s idea to have a theme for each day of the week!
And I loved
Stephanie’s simple list that included a YES day!
Hop on over
here and see ALL of the bucket list linked up.
I’ve actually been pretty good lately but the Nordstrom sale has me swooning over a few things! This dress and these
DV Dolce lace up wedges have been in my shopping cart for weeks! I browsed the sale, ordered a few to try and picked out some goodies for all of you!
Floral Fit & Flare,
Lucky Brand Yellow Wedge,
Rebecca Minkoff iphone 6 Charging Wristlet,
Franco Sarto Mustard Heel,
Lush Maxi,
BP Square Studs (these make fun gifts!),
BP tassel necklace ($11!!),

Karan Kane Top,
Adelyn Rae dress ,
Halogen Flats (so perfect your dog will eat them!),
DV Lace Up Wedge,
Tahari Ikat Dress,

And if you love Old Navy then you definitely want to stop over and see what you can find 50% off! I was being optimistic and order this ruffle bikini top and I grabbed these cutoff shorts earlier in the season and they have been heavy in the rotation!
I also jumped on the Stella & Dot consultant band wagon with a friend this past month and through the 31st sale items are an extra 25% off. You can find some fun items
here. And if you are looking to host your own trunk show to earn some free S&D faves please contact me!

Summer nights are definitely one of my very favorites! We are kicking off summer on Friday and having some friends over for tacos. It will be super duper low key but with lots of laughing! I’m thinking we may have to bring back the walking taco to make it simpler. Some chicken nuggets from chick-fil-a for the picky eaters and we should be good to go.
Earlier this week I shared my
favorite vacations! This sure does have me itching to get to the coast. We will hopefully kick off summer vacation by heading to Matagorda this weekend and heading out to the bay for some fishing.
I was so excited to find Lynda featured my post from last Friday,
Roadtrip Fun, as part of the Awesome Life Friday linkup! You can catch up on pictures from our actual Roadtrip
here.
We had some serious rain on Thursday as well as a tornado move through a local subdivision. Hoping for a calmer Friday. Baby girl graduates at 9 from 4th grade and my stint as an elementary momma is O-V-E-R over! Now to get through tomorrow’s goodbyes without tears.
Hope you all have a super weekend!

Oh goodness! Thanks for sharing mine. Summertime can be so busy so I wanted to give us fun ways to make memories without having to try too hard. And the yes day? I sure hope the 3 1/2 year old doesn't catch on 🙂
Enjoy your last day as an elementary school mama! An era is over! 🙂 And, thanks, friend, for featuring my summer theme days! Hoping the kids are excited about them as me! 😉 I still don't think it's really sunk in that it's summer!!! Whoop!
Aww, I needed to see my sweet Friend Shelly's post today…I am bawling over here, last day for my two Seniors so bring on Summer and thank you for sharing my couples bucket list!!!! Hugs for a GREAT long weekend for you and your family precious friend!!
Somebody doesn't like tacos?? And you live in Texas? Wow! LOL!
Yay for shopping! And summer! And vacations!
So much to love in this post. I recently made my first order from S&D when a friend had an online party. Lots of good stuff, and I was really impressed with quality and shipping time. I ordered Wed night and had it by Saturday morning! I wondered how you were doing when I saw the tornado's coming through. Glad you are ok! We hardly got any rain from this round of storms, but there are several districts in the area who are closed today. Hope you have a wonderful weekend and a big YEA! for being done with elementary school!
I hope you all have a wonderful Summer break! I vote for walking tacos. They're so good and so easy! Enjoy your weekend!
Happy summer break… i've been perusing the sale as well 🙂
Hello snap chat friend lol! Girl, bye, I am jealous summer break has began already! We have to wait until the 9th, geeeez! I like lazy mornings in the summer even though that is a joke considering camp starts at 8! OK let me get all the dresses, studs, and espadrilles. Thanks, doll! Ha! Love your posts and I'm really hoping you have a fabulous long weekend! Yay for 4th grade graduation! xoxox Amanda
I have never had a walking taco… clearly I should fix that. I am SO close to wrapping up our spring bucket list then we'll join the summer fun. Although it clearly feels we are all about summer already.
Hope you had a great weekend.
Oh Beth….you definitely need to experience a walking taco!! Or…a walking frito pie. We always had frito pies at football games and such where they just opened the bag of fritos and threw in the chili and cheese…it just taste better that way!!
I have so enjoyed following along with your Snaps! Sorry about those baby chicks…yikes!
I got a little carried away as always Sarita! Thank goodness for free shipping AND returns!
Walking tacos are the best! Hope you have a super summer too Stefanie!
S&D always has great shipping and know that if you ever have any issues they are also really great at replacing so don't hesitate! Glad you guys were spared the rain…looks like we have more coming.
Hahaha….girl…my Dillon wouldn't touch a taco of any sort!
Ahhh….sweet Momma!! I will be praying for you…I know this is a sweet but emotional time!
Loved your list Stephanie! Hope you have an amazing summer!
OMG! Dillon!! Seriously?!
I like the idea of a "Summer Bucket List!" Hope you check off every item on your list! Blessings, Janet
I don't do bucket lists, set goals or track numbers….what kind of blogger am I????? Kicking off summer, that I know how to do and I don't need a list to do it. Having summers off mean I can do whatever I want, when I want. Not bad – a perk of being a teacher.
I don't have any list for the summer. My son's summer is only 5 weeks so it goes by way too quick!
Thank you for being a part of TBT Fashion link up and hope to see you soon!

Thanks Janet! We are already on our way. I love summer!!
Lists kind of stress me out…..like always sitting there waiting for me to cross something off! I really have to remind myself it's more of a guide and not a must do.
5 weeks would be super quick! I almost wish my kids had year round school with more short breaks in between.
All things summer…just yea!
