Styling a Graphic Tee

Graphic Tee
When I first saw this weeks style prompt from the Blended Blog Style Perspectives challenge I almost wrote it off.  Graphic Tees are something I’m always wanting to grab but then they sit in my drawer and I never feel super comfortable wearing.
Spring Style

I’ve had this tee for a year and I believe I’ve only worn twice.  I love it but I just never really felt I was wearing it well.  This is why I love these style prompts!  I decided to step outside my box and add this fun white denim jacket over this tee.  This jacket is one of my favorite spring purchases and sadly it sold out quickly.

I really think I could possibly even pull this off with a skirt at the office.   Really made me think I’m going to need to grab a new black maxi too.  This layered look works perfectly to keep from freezing at the office or in a restaurant or movie for girls night out!

Spring Style

It’s already fairly warm here in Texas so ditching the jacket by noon is likely.   I still love the way this tee works with these Old Navy black jeans and gladiator sandals.

Grab some snacks and a great book and I’m ready for an afternoon on a patio somewhere.  I grabbed this tee from Be Still Clothing Company where you can find lots of Jesus inspired tees.
I think this Fruit of the Spirit Tee will be going into my cart ASAP!  Love this little company and they will have a Mother’s Day sale beginning this Friday so be sure to check them out and follow on Instagram here.
This is one of my favorite verses.  I am so guilty of doing everything in my power to not be still sometimes.  Solving problems is what I want to do and there are times when there is no solution. Learning to be still and really open your heart and mind to let God be God instead of trying to take matters into my own hands really helps me gain direction and learn to be more compassionate to others.  I’m pretty sure I purchased this tee at a time when I was feeling unsettled and I so needed the reminder today.
