Stitch Fix – March Unboxing
My latest Stitch Fix box was full of fun pieces and I’m unboxing them for you today! I’ve had plenty of hits and misses in the 6+ years I’ve been receiving a box from Stitch Fix, but I have to say they have come a long way in recent years. If you have tried Stitch Fix and been disappointed in the past, I would encourage you to try again and use some of the new tools to help make sure you receive a box that works for you! I even have the option now to review the stylist picks and cancel out any for sure nos so she has a second chance to pick items that will work for me.
Stitch Fix also has a new freestyle option which I have used a few times. You can actually shop directly from the site for new arrivals or items by category. This has been a great option for me once I find a brand that I really love.
So let’s get to it! Here is what I received in my March Stitch Fix box!
First up, these jeans by KanCan. This is a new to me brand but apparently many of you have loved these for awhile based on the reaction on Instagram. The fit is true to size (I’m wearing an 8) and they have just enough stretch to be super comfortable. I 100% loved these jeans but the color was just a bit “off” for my closet. While they look very burgundy in this picture, they were actually enough on the purple side that I was having trouble coordinating them with anything I already owned. They are obviously a great item, however, because they are now sold out on the Stitch Fix site but here are some other KanCan options available in Freestyle.
Next up is this floral kimono in a bright spring shade. A kimono is one of my favorite items for spring and summer becuase they are so versatile. They can be tossed over a simple dress for work, worn with denim shorts or dressed up with jeans for a date night. Plus they double as a swim cover up! I loved this one but was not in love with this shade of yellow for me.
Stitch Fix also has activewear and having a few new pieces definitely motivates me to get to the gym! I may not look so cute walking out of the gym but heading in I try to look like I know what I’m doing. Ha! My stylist sent me this tank along with a floral sports bra and I loved both pieces. They have been perfect to freshen up my workouts.
I didn’t realize until I started pulling together this post that I did not take a picture of another keeper piece from this box! This little top is so darling and is perfect for layering under one of my favorite blazers for work but will work easily with shorts, jeans or skirts too. I loved the pattern and the style!
Last week I was in a restaurant and saw someone wearing this top and recognized it as one of my favorite ever Stitch Fix purchases. This top has been in my closet since my January 2019 Stitch Fix arrived and it’s still going strong! It’s also still going strong with Stitch Fix as I just checked and it’s still available to purchase and comes in two colors. This one has been extremely versatile for me and has paired well with so many outfits pretty much across all seasons.
While I’ve linked some of these pieces directly to the Stitch Fix Freestyle site, I’m not sure you will be able to view without logging into Stitch Fix. I’d love to know in the comments if this worked for you or not as this is the first time I’ve tried to share the links directly.
If you are new to Stitch Fix and want to give it a try, I’d love for you to use my referral code which will provide you $25 off your first order. Yes, this also means you gifted me $25 and it is very much appreciated!
Enjoy the rest of your week and rest up as we prepare to spring forward!
