Stitch Fix – January
It’s been a hot minute since I’ve shared a Stitch Fix try on here on the blog. If you follow my insta-stories you have seen most of my fixes in a try on session and official unboxing but I don’t always have a chance to take pictures worth of a blog post. I did manage to pull the pieces together in January and thought I’d show them off today!
For those of you who may be new to Stitch Fix, for $20 you can order a box containing 5 items for you to try. The box includes a prepaid bag you use to return anything you don’t love. There is also a 25% discount for purchasing all items. If you are brand new to Stitch Fix, with my referral code you can actually receive $25 off your first fix!
So how do they decide what to send? Well you tell them of course! You have an opportunity to fill out a style profile and also send a quick note to your stylist. I’ve also created a Pinterest board for Stitch Fix to use to identify the looks I love.
I’ve heard from many the items just seem too pricey. Well, you do have the opportunity to give feedback on price too both as you are filling out your style profile and upon returning items. Personally I’m willing to pay a little more sometimes for an item not everyone may have. You will see I’ve included the items with all the details below!
So let’s get to it shall we?
I requested a pair of black jeans as the zipper broke on my favorite pair! These were a great fit, however, a tad too short. Sadly they were a return.
The sweater, however, was so super soft and lightweight. In Texas, lightweight sweaters work so well for layering in the winter months but will easily convert to wear in the spring with shorts. This one is was a keeper for me!
I pretty much new immediately if this top fit it was staying. If you have been around here much you know I love this type of top. It will be easy to dress up or down and the colors are fabulous. I already wore this past weekend paired with my camel cardigan.
Y’all, I gave this skirt zero percent confidence rating upon unboxing. Boy was I wrong! I loved the pattern (because Aggie colors hello) but it is somewhat of a straight cut so I just wasn’t sure it would fit. It must have some magic because it slipped right on and I quickly fell in love. It has so much stretch but is also thick enough to hide the bumps if you know what I mean. This you will see again!
The sweater, however, was just meh. While it fit fine and had a cute little detail on back, I just wasn’t feeling it. I packed this one up without a second thought.
Even if you don’t order a fix, the Stitch Fix crew is always sharing helpful tips. I love this tool to determining your body type. I need to plug in my measurements as I feel I’m somewhere between a pear and an hourglass. Always y’all….always in between on something! Ha!
I’m feeling pretty confident about my stylist having a feeling for my style. Biggest tip from me, once you find a great stylist continue to request her each time!
Have you tried Stitch Fix? If so what have you loved about it and what would you change?
