Stitch Fix August – Style Six

It’s time for your weekly fix and today I’m hitting you up double! I’m showing off my latest Stitch Fix box and then you can hop over to visit the rest of the Style Six ladies for your weekly fashion fix.

If you are new to Stitch Fix, it’s a style service where you receive 5 items to try based upon a profile you set up. You have the opportunity to give feedback on your style and send back anything you don’t love. Sometimes it’s defintiely harder than others to make a final decision but I love receiving something unexpected I didn’t have to shop for myself.

So let’s take a look at what my box held in August and see if you can help me decide what to keep and what to send back! You can head to Instagram Stories for the full try on experience.

Stitch Fix August

First up is this sweet little dress in a color combo perfect for fall. The A-line cut is my favorite and I love the waist detail. Overall it is a quality fabric and it is a flattering fit and also a great length for me. I also love how well it pairs with a blazer for work but could easily work with a denim jacket for the weekend. Not sure I really “need” this in my closet and I actually have antoher dress I love that is also navy and orange.

Next up is two for one! The jeans are a slight bootcut from Democracy. They are made much like the Wit and Wisdom jeans in that the waist appears normal but has the elastic like feel inside. Love the fit and the wash but they are a tad too short for me.

The top is super cute and full of fall color. I love the slight flutter sleeve and shape. It pairs so well with a utility jacket but would be equally cute with a denim jacket or cardigan.

Side note, my Frye boots are bomb! I’m so excited I snagged these when they were price matched. They will last for years and are so darn comfortable.

This top was a surprise. I wasn’t really sure I would like the fit as the tie waist is sometimes tricky for me. It is so super soft and I’m really debating keeping it. Maybe I’m just so ready for some cooler weather and something that feels cozy!

Stitch Fix August Try On

Lastly is this peasant top which was a clear no for me. Nothing about the pattern or colors works for me. I loved the sleeve detail but it ran a little small on me otherwise. Definitely sending this one back.

So help me decide on the floral blouse, cozy top and the dress? Any keepers?

Receiving a Stitch Fix is so fun to me. One of my biggest suggestions is to always try every piece even if you do not think you will love it. I’ve been pleasantly surprised many times.

My rules for the Stitch Fix are similar for my regular shopping rules. Items must be cross functional and work for work and play. The item must also work with something already in my closet.

My pick from last weeks Style Six is from Shelbee on the Edge. The fall colors are so lovely! Grab your favorite look and join us and you could find yourself featured here next week!
