Spring Favorites at Old Navy

Old Navy is typically hit or miss for me.  While I love some of the pieces, they do not always love my body type.  I had a return to make and was pleasantly surprised when I popped in this week!  These pieces are definitely going to be spring favorites!

Old Navy Spring Faves - The Queen in Between

I’ve had my eye on this dress for weeks hoping for a sale but it is only available in stores and, well, life sometimes keeps me out of the actual stores!  I was too excited to find it still available AND 20% off.  There were only a few left so I snagged it up.

I just love the pattern, the swing style and the open sleeve is just the icing on the cake. This pattern is also available in a V-neck Maxi dress and a fit and flare cami style.  Both are on sale!

I’m thinking it is a definite new addition to my closet!  Even with the cold shoulder, this dress is conservative enough for the office.  These sandals were one of my favorite anniversary sale purchases and they are on sale even cheaper now!  I’m seriously contemplating ordering a pair in black because they are so comfortable and when I can find a great fitting shoe under $60 I’m excited.

The Ageless Style Link-up earlier this week really had me itching for some more pastel in my closet.  I really wish I had a dime for every pair of pink pants I’ve tried on over the past few years.  These pants were also on sale 30% off which brought them to like $23 with tax.  For work slacks that was a huge plus.  I brought them home without high expectations but fell quickly in love!  The fabric is thick enough to hide flaws even with the light color and the fit was perfect.

Added bonus, I already had this adorable flutter sleeve top from Loft in my closet!  I wore this to work on Wednesday but swapped out these sandals for my grey booties and it was perfect.

I’m always looking for ways to wear this navy blazer and it was perfect with this outfit.  Plus, a sweet spring cool front blew in Wednesday morning so I pulled off this look for work.  Don’t worry, I did removed the tag first.  🙂

Every time the season changes and I add a few new pieces I swear it is my favorite!  These spring pieces are just what my closet needed.  What have you added to your closet for spring?

  1. That dress is so cute and you know I love my Old Navy Harper pants too. I’m so glad Old Navy is working for me lately I went through a spell where I didn’t like anything and nothing fit well. They seem to have gotten the memo because lately they are on it!

  2. Same her sweets!! I am always in between sizes there but This year I found a couple gems. Your cold shoulder is such a pretty print with the darker backdrop!! And what a great outfit with the blush to dress up for work. Thumbs up to Old Navy this season!! and to you for lookin’ so darn GREAT!!

  3. You are the second person to post that print from Old Navy, I am SWOONING. In fact I am swooning so hard that I ordered it in a different cut. I found that they had it in tall and went for it. I honestly don’t expect it to fit me right, their dresses rarely do, but it is worth a try.

  4. Love the dress! I need to check out old navy. They have some great sales and its hit and miss for me too.

        1. Agreed…but I don’t mind ordering from stores with free shipping or stores we have in town because it’s easy to return. I really do prefer to try on at home…I seriously believe they have “trick” mirrors sometimes. 😉

    1. I have had a hard time finding just the right piece that looks decent on me Jessica so I totally get it. And all these one shoulder cuties out there..umm…no…not working on my body! I need to find a cute off the shoulder to try.

  5. oh my goodness, you said you bought my same dress pattern in a different style and this is the one that I bought as well! LOL 🙂 It’s so darn cute, and now that those shoes are on sale, I’m thinking I need to get a pair too! So pretty friend.

    1. It has been hit or miss for me over the years Stephanie but right now they are knocking it out of the park. I do love that I can purchase more trendy things there and don’t feel as bad tossing once the trend fades away since they are so much more reasonable.

  6. Great stuff!! That dress is amazing, not sure if it will work for me, but I am going to the mall tomorrow so I might have to hit old navy after this post! Have a fun weekend!

  7. I’m also LOVING the Old Navy colors, prints and lengths this Spring. So cute! LauriePOP Ideas That POP

    1. Lana they are always so hit or miss for me but over the past year the dresses have definitely been a big win for me. I also found the cutest off the shoulder in the store this weekend and then snagged 40% off online yesterday. Can’t wait for it to arrive!!

  8. I love those pink pants! They’re so versatile… And both your outfits are really cute 🙂

  10. I am the SAME exact way with Old Navy…I love when it’s a hit because it’s usually a huge hit and I want everything lol. I love these two looks on you! That dress is a gorgeous print and I love the fit and style of it. Thank you so much for sharing with us at On Mondays We Link-Up!

  11. I haven’t been to Old Navy in quite a while but I love that print and I love your dress. I hope to find it soon either in that long-sleeve open-slit or the long maxi option. Are those the rose blush Harper pants by Old Navy?! I own them if so, they are thick and nicely-made. But yeah, Old Navy’s sizes are very fickle.

Welcome by tomorrow and every Thursday and linkup with me pretty lady. =)
