Show & Tell – Halloween Costumes.
Taking a walk down memory lane for Andrea’s Show and Tell Tuesday! Today it’s all about showing off past Halloween costumes!
Me and my favorite little brother for Halloween around 1975. I must have loved this witch because I chose the same costume two years in a row. I loved trick or treating! Bonus points if you can remember the Saturday morning TV character my brother is dressed as!
My first little pumpkins first Halloween and my first little pumpkin was of course a pumpkin! Jordan loved everything!
Riley on the other hand was the hardest to dress up! He has so many restrictions when it comes to clothes and things cannot be too itchy or tight so most years he was dressed in camo…army guy, hunter, you get the idea.
And every single year he would be adamant he did not want to participate in Halloween and then I change his mind at the last minute. This year he was bubba complete with the fake bubba teeth. Jordan always had leftover dance costumes perfect for dressing up like a Go Go dancer or something fun.
Oh how I adored this precious little cowboy!! He had no interest in trick or treating or getting any candy at all. All he wanted to do was try to rope something.
And I found these sweet little boots for Carly so she could be a cowgirl! She was only about 5 weeks old and no way was I getting Dillon to hold her. He was still trying to figure out why she was still living at our house.
Carly pretty much still hates me for picking the spider but I promise she LOVED it.
Our friends had a Halloween birthday party several years and this year we tried playing dress up. Jordan was Little Miss Muffet and I dressed up as “Miss Behavior”. Carly is crying but I’m sure it was just because I wouldn’t let her have candy and not because she hated her costume!
Cutest little Power Ranger ever!
Easy ladies! Riley decided he wanted to go trick or treating with friends but had no costume…again…and this is what we came up with! Mind you this was pre-pinterest so I actually had to search for these ideas.
My office always has a little trick or treating for the kids and I wish they were still little enough to want to come!
Probably one of my favorite years with the cutest little peacock and the most handsome Harry Potter!
Boys are so darn easy! And I cleaned up hair from this Repunzel wig for years.
And last year might have been my favorite year for Carly yet! She insisted on dressing up Dutch as a hot dog leaving her to be a waitress. She was beside herself excited!
And she’s going to KILL me for posting this one but last year my grown up girl wanted to be scary for Halloween so she put together this ghost. I have to say…as a mom who has seen lots of college girls dress up, I was super happy with this choice!
No clue what the heck these kids are going to be this year! Hopefully all will be decided this weekend.
Loved writing each of these in the past months for Show & Tell Tuesday
I tried, repeatedly, to have Annabelle be something super cute but she insisted on being Olaf. Now that I've bought the Olaf, she wants to be Elsa! LOL
Of course she does mom! Hahahaha
Cute cute costumes and wonderful memories!
I love all of these costume ideas and many of them look handmade. props to you mama!

How can Riley's present still crack me up after all these years?! And Carly as a spider! How did I not remember this?!
It really makes me sad that all my "Bigs" pictures are cut up in scrapbooks and I didn't move to digital until they were about 10-13. 🙁
Thanks Liz! I'm sure you will have so much fun dressing up Sophie!
The spider was adorable! And I love "Miss Behavior!" Classic and classy all in one! Also – I can see RYAN wanting to borrow Riley's costume now. He thinks he's funny. 😉
Haha…Ryan could totally pull it off!
