Short Shorts – Style Six
It may date me a little but any time I think of short shorts, I’m singing the jingle for Nair from back in the 80’s! Even all these years later I still prefer a shorter length and I’m sharing my favorite shorts today for the Style Six linkup.
Back in 2014 I decided to give J. Crew shorts a go and have been sold ever since. There were a few years of bermuda shorts in my mid mom years but I just never felt like they worked for me. I’m super short waisted with my widest being my hips. The bermuda length just seemed to enhance the width of my hips.
Initially I ordered the J. Crew shorts in 4″ and eventually snagged several additional pair form J. Crew Factory in both 4″ and 5″ length. I do like both and still continue to wear them but I will say the J. Crew shorts have seemed to stand the test of time a little better.
They always come in tons of shades and even a pattern or two. I love pairing with fun tops and cute shoes! Maybe even a fun piece of jewelry to complete the look.
Any way I can style them you can bet I’ll be wearing them! It’s too hot to pass on the shorts here in Texas.
