San Antonio Style + Linkup
We enjoyed a weekend in San Antonio and while it was mostly to watch baseball, Carly Jo and I also managed to play tourist. Since we arrived at the River Walk early and it was not yet crowded we decided on a little photo shoot.

Clothes for the pre-teen age are so hard to find these days. Carly has outgrown Justice which was our go to previously so we have been hit or miss at Target and Old Navy. Old Navy tanks seem to be the most flattering fit and she loves their patterned shorts.
This top is actually from Anthropology last season but J. Crew Factory has one almost identical in the popover style right now.
I really had so much luck with the Memorial Day sale items I ordered from J. Crew Factory. These shorts are 5″ and any time I find a pair this length I try to snag them. Right now they also have this pattern in a swim cover up and this precious top that would be adorable with shorts, jeans, skirt or dress pants.
Carly did a great job being my photographer don’t you think? I’m sure she will be working to negotiate a salary soon!
Carly loves to go shopping with my mom and on their last trip to Target she scored these sandals in a size 6.5! I know she is so on the grow right now.
Precious, precious girl right here! I really just want to bottle her up and skip the teenage years. We had so much fun on our little photo shoot and spending time together! One on one time with my kids is one of my very favorite things.

Shelly I love your shorts with the gingham popover! Gingham and floral are among my favorite patterns to mix. Carly Jo did a fabulous job as photographer and deserves a raise. I could use a Carly Jo around here, goo dhelp is hard to find and the fact that she’s so precious is a bonus!

I was in San Antonio this past fall and really enjoyed it there! And that gingham top!? So cute for summer! It’s perfect with those shorts!
SA is so much fun and there is so much more to do than I really ever realized. Lots of art and culture.
