Royally Waiting (Link-Up #18)
Welcome to the Royally Waiting link-up where Holly, Katy and I invite you to share what your waiting on this week! I’ve so been waiting on Wednesday because hopefully it will be just the mid week high I need after my crazy start to the week.
Forgetting
Alot lately it seems! Ugh, this midlife memory. I headed to my hometown on Sunday evening and halfway there realized all my clothes were still having in my closet at home!! Had I made it to Wharton with my clothes this is what I would have been wearing on Monday. My brain is feeling the size of a birds lately so it’s totally fitting. The Flamingo Tank sold out for the second time just since I purchased but they still have the same style in this watermelon look.
Failing
The highlight of the Monday-est Tuesday ever hit a high point when I got changed at the gym and realized I brought two shoes only they were two DIFFERENT shoes!
Laughing
At myself because, really, what else can you do!
Whining
To my besties (and whoever else would listen) and feeling sorry for myself a bit. Don’t worry….it was all hormonal and nothing some wine and love from girls who know me inside out could give. See more of my weekly whine.
Reading
Year of Yes! Absolutely you need to go grab this book if you are struggling at all with wanting to get outside your comfort zone! I am positive I will have a full review soon because I’ve hardly been able to put it down.
Sharing
My first post on The Blended Blog for Tasty Tuesday! Go give it a read and linkup your favorite recipe!
Waiting
To get a handle on our summer schedule. Geez Louise it has been a bit of a circus and no two weeks have been the same! Tomorrow Dillon is attending a baseball tryout in Waco and don’t tell but I’m considering sneaking over to Magnolia while he’s waiting to “perform”.
What are you waiting on this week? Link up and share what is going on in your life!
I made the chicken salad from our post yesterday and it was delicious! My mom came over and had some with me and she loved it too. Thanks for sharing it!

Yea! I think it’s delish! Glad you shared with your mom.
You and your gym shoes gave me the BIGGEST smile last night. I adore that you did your workout anyways. I guess you did end up having a Monday moment on your Tuesday, huh?!
Seriously…everything I touched yesterday was some sort of disaster girl. haha
Your gym shoes pic brought a big smile to my face. I began The Year of Yes, last year and need to start over and finish it. This summer I promise.
it’s soooo good! I am so soaking it up right now.
At least you brought both a left and right foot shoe! It’d be awful if you brought two of the same foot! I once got to the gym and changed and then realized I didn’t have any socks, and it grosses me out to wear tennis shoes without socks but I did it anyway. I’m sure no one looked at your shoes!

I’ve forgotten socks too….sweaty feet ick.
So jealous about your trip to Magnolia! If you see anything I might need… 😉
You are not alone in the shoe mishap. I did the exact same thing a couple of years ago. I actually didn’t even notice the problem until I got home from the gym! Thank goodness I workout at 5 am and there aren’t a lot people there at that time. Happy Wednesday!!
My Tuesday was such a disaster…my biggest issue is I have not been consistent with my workouts which definitely has made me lazy about packing a bag. Ugh
OH, that tank is so dang cute! And at least you had a left and a right shoe? So you could still workout…that’s a bonus, you can start a trend.
I seriously cannot even with the Tuesday I had Sarah! I am sure there were some people giving me the side eye at the gym.
I love the tank! I am impressed that you mismatched your shoes, but had the right and the left. That has had me smiling all week. Boo for Mondayist-Tuesdays but at least you can laugh about it now. I hope the rest of your week has been smooth sailing!
Thankfully Jenna….the rest of the week has been kind! Hope you have a super weekend!
Oh my gosh…the two different shoes are my favorite. I’m so happy I’m not alone in my “middle age brain”…it’s vicious!
Too funny about the shoes! I have done this before with gym shoes and with office pumps… 🙁 The Year of Yes intrigues me, so I need to check this one out.
Jennie I think you would REALLY love this book!
At least the shoes you brought were for different feet! I can totally see that happening to me!
