Queen Bees Linkup {7} – Living on Cloud Nine

·
Welcome to the Queen Bee link up party where you  have the chance to give a shout out to a special woman in your life!  You can choose a fellow blogger who inspires you or someone who doesn’t even know you have a blog!  Whether she inspires you with her brain, her fashion, or the way she has handled her personal journey we want to hear about her on the 2nd Tuesday each month!
In February we are trying something new and giving you a prompt to help you along! February is all about love right?  Well do you know a woman who loves well?  We totally want you to tell us about her!
Now on to my Queen Bee for January!  One of my favorite parts of blogging has been finding other women close to my age who share the same sense of style and values.  I found Andrea midway through 2015 and knew immediately we could be fast friends.  Isn’t she the most adorable?
While she shares so much fashion inspiration such as these fun outfits you can find in her 2015 Favorites, she also shares about her family, fun recipes and real life adventures on her blog Living on Cloud Nine.
She knows how to style a great pair of red Hunter boots too!  Although I can only imagine that even on the rainiest days she is a ray of sunshine.
Whether she is dressing up or enjoying some time at the beach this girl is always looking classy.  See this outfit here.  It’s always inspiring to see someone pull together outfits to compliment their body type and coloring effortlessly and Andrea does just that.
I mean come on….when I saw her post here I just knew she needed to come visit me in Texas!  Precious sweet thang!
As if she was the only beautiful person in her family, look at the rest of her crew!  The mom of three boys and if you spend much time at all on her blog you will see she is the Queen among them all.  It is obvious she adores them and the feeling is mutual.   They know how to have lots of fun together!

I thought I would ask Andrea a few questions so you can get to know her just a little better and see why she would be inspiring!

Question:  Can you share some of your tips for pulling outfits together between seasons?
Andrea:  Isn’t it funny how we can have a closet full of clothes but when it’s in between seasons, picking an outfit is so much more difficult? For some reason, when I hit my 40’s, this became a little bit easier. Maybe it’s because I wasn’t just after style and flash, I was gearing toward comfort as well. While I dress up for work, and love a good snazzy date night outfit now and then, the weekends are about comfortable yet stylish and cute clothing. For me, in between seasons are about layering. Cute jackets, cardigans and my beloved wraps and capes in various weights and fabrics allow not only for various looks, but if you get warm, which I often do, you can yank that outer layer off and go with a great top underneath. It’s all about what you feel good in and by that I mean confidence, comfort and cuteness all rolled into one!
Question:  How do you balance all of life’s in betweens?

Andrea:  Balancing life’s in between’s for me is about three things: positivity, Faith in God, and being able to laugh at yourself. I might have a horrible day but when I get home and see the smiles on my kids faces or see my Husband’s eyes light up, it warms my heart. We can laugh together about all the crazy things that might’ve went wrong that day. For me, that’s what it’s all about, the juggling, the struggles, the emotions; they are all worth it as long as my family is happy and healthy. Plus my Busy bee, extremely organized personality helps keep the families schedules in check. I joke all the time that I make lists about my lists!!! Notepads and calendars are my dear friends!!

Friends, you want to head right on over to Living on Cloud Nine and see what Andrea is all about.  I will warn you, you might want to set a timer!

Now it’s your turn to join the fun!

A little linkup etiquette:

We want you to post about women who inspire you so feel free to post old posts – new posts… it’s up to you!  Please link to your specific post URL and not to your blog home page.
Please place a link back to this link-up in either your post or on your party page so that others can link up too.

Use the hashtag #beaqueenbee on other social media

It’s a party, try to visit at least 2 other posts and show them some love!  This is the fun part! Be inspired, inspire someone else – don’t just link and run!
We would love, love, love for you to follow us on some form of social media but it is not required.
