Prime Finds – January
One of the things I’ve been evaluating is my need for my Amazon Prime membership. I definitely can get carried away hitting add to cart especially on days like today when Tanya of The Other Side of the Road hosts her Prime Purchases linkup! For now I’m still finding things I “need” and sharing today for prime finds January!
As the parents of the groom we of course were responsible for the rehearsal dinner. I used these wood slices and my sister-in-law used her cricket to add names to them. They turned out so cute and it was a cheap way to add a special touch to the tables. Even though we had the event at a restaurant, I also wanted real napkins to dress things up and ordered these white napkins.
Drinking water is not my favorite and I am kind of a snob about it. We have a filtered water dispenser at work which taste great to me and I always drink more when I drink from a straw. In an effort to save a little money at home and not go through quite so many cases of water, I purchased this Brita water dispenser to keep in the fridge. I have loved it and am definitely drinking more water even on the weekends.
Several years back I had this same steamer and loved it but ended up burning it up at some point. I’ve tried several hand held options and none have worked for me so I decided to order this one again. We are hopefully about to add a closet/cubby area in our laundry room which will hopefully give me a better space to stash it away because the size is the only downside.
These joggers have also been a fave purchase. They are a Lulu dupe but I would have probably paid the Lulu price to finally find a pair that fit my wonky bod. I love seeing joggers on others but the fabric typically is too buttery soft and shows all my bumps. These are more like a wind pant material and will be easy to wear even when the temps heat up a little.
Carly asked for this hanging travel bag for Christmas and she is loving how much space it has for all her things. She will be set and ready for her first competition weekend.
Over the last 6 months I was having alot of trouble with breakouts around my mouth and cheeks and just seemed to be having lots of blackheads even though I wash my face every night. For some reason I had stopped using my Clarisonic so I added that back into my routine and it has all cleared up! But did you know Clarisonic has gone out of business?? I found these generic replacement heads and they are literally identical to the ones I had been using so now I’m kicking myself for wasting money for so long!
I know I’ve already shared this purchase multiple times but it is still marked down to $89.99 so it’s worth sharing again. We have had it on our counter for a week and have used it at least 5 nights. It quickly became such a favorite it now has it’s own Pinterest board full of things to make!
So what are you priming lately? I definitely need to work on being more mindful of what I’m buying and always realize that when I’m balancing my bank statement and see all the Amazon charges. Definitely something to improve on in 2021!
