Prime Finds January

It’s been a bit since I’ve shared any prime finds so I’m joining my friend Tanya today to share a few finds that were oh so prime and one that was totally not.

This little gadget has us all in smoothie love! Riley was looking for an option other than his blender and I snagged this one as a Christmas gift for him but decided to add to my list too! Santa failed me but Amazon always comes through. We are loving how well it works! While we have mainly used for creating smoothies, I did use it to blend up the tomato soup I shared last week.

Cacao Nibs

I’ve been reading Body Love and am all about the Fab Four Smoothie. I grabbed these cacao nibs to sprinkle on top one of the recipes. I have also found my flax and chia seed mix on Amazon and think the prices are better or comparable to local stores.

Paper Mate Flair

I mean it’s the first of the year and who doesn’t need new pens to fancy up a new planner? These flair pens seem to be all the rage and I haven’t tried in quite some time. I’m kind of loving them and really think they will make a super colorful Valentines day gift. I grabbed a couple of packs on sale but it looks like the price has increased. The Amazon brand flair pens have really great reviews and come in a 24 pack so I think they would be worth trying.

Frixion Pens

The Frixion pens were mentioned on a podcast I recently listened to so I decided to give them a try. I totally remember how excited we all were in junior high when Papermate came out with an erasable pen! I have to say I’m quite impressed with these and how well they erase and have been showing them off to my coworkers like a teenager!

Laptop Cover

Y’all, this purchase kind of cracked me up. I’ve had a Macbook Pro 15″ without a case for 4 years and finally decided to grab this neoprene case to protect it while carrying back and forth to work. Would you even believe 2 days after arriving my dang laptop completely died? Damn the luck! It is good quality and does the trick and comes in several colors. Of course it is a tad too big for the new sleek Macbook I now have but it will have to work for under $10 I’m keeping it.

Tripod with Ring Light

Sharing recipes here on the blog is something I want to do more of but I’m often cooking things up when it’s not so light outside. My kitchen is also full of dark granite and not always the most conducive to good lighting. I grabbed this little desktop tripod with ring light to try out. If nothing else I’m kind of loving the tiny tripod and think I could also see myself using for some coffee talks on insta-stories.

So I had been curious about the Echo Look for some time when a special deal popped up bringing the price to $49. It barely made it out of the box before I was packing it right back up. While the concept is good, this device has to be plugged in to be used. It also really needs to be at a height where that really doesn’t make much since to me. Not being able to charge and move around was a definite deal breaker.

Wood Chips

Lastly, these little wood chips. Back in November I attended a dinner and these were used to create a merry place setting. Someone with a steady hand wrote Christmasy words like Merry, Joy, Peace, etc and they made the cutest little ornaments. I grabbed a bag thinking they would also make super cute gift tags not only at Christmas but all year long. They also make great little risers for items if you like decorating the cute tiered trays .

Kindle Unlimited has been a great source for a few great reads recently too! I’m hoping to have a post put together soon with my favorite reads for free.

I can’t wait to see your Amazon prime purchases! Clothing is the one area I haven’t ventured out to try on Amazon but continue to see so many cute finds. So grab your recent purchases and head to link up at The Other Side of the Road!
