Prime Finds – Beach Essentials
We packed up and headed to the beach for a much needed family getaway but not before we grabbed a few beach essentials! I’m sharing these prime finds and linking up with Tanya today or her prime purchases linkup!
It’s been 11 years since we have been to the beach with all of our kids and, well, they have all grown up a bit. We definitely needed some games that were a little more grown up and would work at both the beach house and in the sand. We definitely brought along some corn hole boards but here is a run down of the other prime finds I ordered!
We saw some kids playing spike ball recently at a graduation get together and decided it would be a quick win. I was able to find the slammo pro instead but it is basically the same. Y’all, we busted this out on our first night and it is so much fun! We definitely had some good laughs before we finally got the hang of it and I’ll just say it’s really important to stretch the net tight enough.
We will have a full day at the beach tomorrow and in addition to slam ball we will drag along this set of horseshoes perfect for the sand and paddle ball to keep every one busy in between riding the waves on the boogie boards.
Of course since our sweet Haisley also made the trip there are alot of essentials to drag out to the beach to keep her nice and cool and out of the sand. This wagon makes is the perfect means of transport and the larger wheels are more sand friendly. This beach blanket is suppose to be great for staying put and free of sand so we can’t wait to try it out for naptime.
Last month on a little beach getaway our tent was not quite anchored down enough and a wind gust turned it into scrap metal. We upgraded to this tent and it should give us plenty of coverage.
Heading to the beach doesn’t require a ton of outfits so I can get by with a smaller bag but my Vera Bradley bag is probably 10 years old and seen better days. I grabbed this striped overnight bag on a Amazon lightening deal and think it is a chic upgrade.
And Miss Haisley would also give a big thumbs up for her new favorite baby product, the Otteroo! Y’all, I cannot with how adorable this girl is and she loves her some water time. Taylor uses this for her in the bath but it works really well for the pool too. Safety first of course and no worries because someone always has at least one hand on this precious girl!
Being together as a family is such a treasure to me and I’m so thankful despite everything going on we were able to make it happen this summer.
Hope you are having some sweet time with your family and making some amazing summer memories.
