Pattern Mix + TBB Style Linkup
While the calendar is pointing to fall, I’m not quite ready to add too many new pieces to my wardrobe until the temps cool off a bit. I’ve been working on shopping my closet and creating a few new looks with pieces I already have. Pattern mixing is always an easy way to add a little flare to an already beautiful piece.
I love this dress but always felt it needed a little something extra. Belts typically are not my thing and I do not own many, but this animal print caught my eye when I was looking for something to mix up this week. I’m kind of crazy about how it paired with the floral to create a little break between the top and bottom of the dress.
Of course these booties were definitely a favorite purchase a few years back. I remember debating and questioning whether I would really wear a maroon bootie. Obviously I had zero clue how versatile they would be as I pull them out all the time!
And can we talk just a minute about this camo cutie? I may have gone overboard trying to pull a third pattern into this look with the camo clutch but it is such a fun piece! Believe it or not, just like leopard camo can act as a neutral. This isn’t the first time I’ve pulled a little camo into my wardrobe. Check out this day to date look or casual in camo look.
