No Fail Easy Lasagna
When I was first married and crazy out of my mind at 22, I tried to make homemade lasagna and boiling noodles was a disaster! I could not remove one from the pot without tearing it in half. I tried making frozen lasagna and that just wasn’t working for me either. By chance one day I happened to notice right there on the Skinner’s lasagna box, a recipe for Virginia’s Easy Lasagna and it has been a family favorite for 20+ years.
Over the years I have tweaked the recipe a bit and have found we like it best with a 1/2 and 1/2 combo of lean ground beef and Italian sausage. I have also made with cheap spaghetti sauce when we were on a budget but have graduated to a much healthier and heartier sauce. My fave is Monte Bene tomato basil.
I almost always double this recipe and prepare two pans at once whether I’m freezing for our family to pull out for a future event or gifting a dinner to a friend. It is just so easy and quick it’s hard not to! A note on freezing, always wrap in foil and be sure to thaw before continuing with the cooking directions.
So easy, so delicious!
Looks yummy, can't wait to try this recipe out.

My husband always requests lasagna for his birthday dinner and I always go the uncooked noodle route- so much easier! Thanks for linking up for Rewind Friday!
Why would anyone ever actually cook them right?!!! So excited about this super fun linkup! Thanks for co-hosting Whitney!
