Most Loved Outfits 2018
Happy New Year! I’m spending the week taking a look back at the past year and today I’m sharing my most loved outfits from 2018.
January
Such a favorite of mine every year and it’s perfect to help beat the winter doldrums! This cashmere sweater (similar on sale) and vest combo are still favorites in my closet but I will be looking for a new pair of white jeans and hoping to find new OTK boots on sale as the zipper is shot on this pair. Talbots has a great selection of vests on sale with an additional 50% off in limited sizes if you have one on your list.
February
I felt like a million in this outfit and wore it to a Foreigner concert in February sans the pearls. Camo and faux leather leggings can both be rocked in midlife and I’m always a fan of pattern mixing with a little leopard!
March
This jacket is on about year 4 and still going strong! I loved taking a chance on the neck scarf in 2018 too. They use to be such a favorite of mine and I’m glad they made a come back.
April
I’m still waiting for these wedges to go sale! They were my most worn shoe in the spring and summer of 2018 and I will totally grab another pair in 2019 especially if they are marked down.
May
Every single thing about this outfit made me happy!
June
I was feeling some maxi love when this beauty arrived in my summer Stitch Fix! So perfect for a dressier night out but worked equally as well for a simple date night.
July
Did you shop any of the Gibson X line in 2018? Cassie Sugarplum is one of my faves and I couldn’t resist grabbing a few of her pieces during the summer. This top was definitely kept me looking cute & cool. My biggest splurge was Tori Burch sandals and I wore them like crazy. That being said….they look like Hell! I love them so much but I’m way too hard on my shoes.
August
Yep, there are those wedges again! They were the perfect neutral when wearing white.
September
Stitch Fix did it again with this adorable wrap dress. This picture is reminding me I meant to pull this out to try with tall boots and haven’t done that yet! Long cardigans are always tricky for me but this one has been a win.
October
So surprised by this fall floral dress. I mean, online it kind of reminded me of a couch my Meme once had but I loved the colors and gave it a shot. So super cute! Glad I took a shot on these booties too.
November
Stripes & plaid….if you have never given this combo a chance take my advice and just do it! So much fun I even through in a 3rd pattern with this camo clutch.
December
Stitch Fix came through again with these velvet pants and had feeling fun and festive for my holiday parties.
I truly love getting dressed most days and typically only struggle when I’ve let my closet get out of control. Sharing looks with you is fun and hopefully you find some inspiration here! If there is anything in particular you would love to see me style in 2019 I’d love for you to share.
