Memorial Day Looks – Style Six

Is there anything better than a holiday weekend? We actually have a 4 day weekend this year for the first time. While my plans involve a 20 hour road trip to Virginia (yes for real), I’ll still have some fun dressing for the occassion. Today I put together three easy red, white and blue looks just for you!

You an never beat a basic white dress and this one has been a favorite since I picked it up last summer. It is still available in white and a floral print and I just think it’s the perfect summer dress. I popped on some red accessories and a denim jacket to give it a little patriotic flare. These shoes arrived in a Stitch Fix box last May and went unworn most of 2020 (shocker) but I’ve been making up time lately. So comfortable!

Next up, another great Stitch Fix piece from a box I never even blogged about because I planned to send it back and then forgot! Oopsie! Lucky for me it is a great top and it works perfectly for a festive look. These shorts I found last week and they are a great length with plenty of stretch and an unfinished hem. BONUS they are on sale for $15! I can never pace on a darling hat even though I often forget to wear them! This one is from a local boutique and I think it’s adorable.

Lastly, this look is probably more my speed this year as it is easy, cool and comfortable. Can you ever have enough easy tees? Mine is old but I’ve found a few fun options. These denim shorts, however, have already paid for themselves because I’ve been wearing them nonstop. I’m crazy over this brand even though they are a little on the pricey side. The fit is so great with a high waist but still long enough for my current comfort level. Apparently I’m not the only one who loves them becuase this particular style is sold out but I’ve linked an alternate pair for you.
