Holiday Home Tour 2018
This year I’m joining Crystal, Leslie, Becky, Penny, Stephanie, Whitney, and Keri for a Holiday Home Tour. I would love for you to visit the homes of these ladies, they have such beautiful spaces and I love the holiday touches they have throughout their homes.
This year taking pictures proved to be quite the challenge with quite a bit of dreary weather since I put the tree up November 25th but I’ve done my best for you! While I’m 95% done sprucing up the place there are also a few finishing touches I have yet to get around to like a new Christmas tree skirt!
Come on in! If you were here we would grab a cup of coffee and enjoy a chat by the twinkle lights while some Christmas tunes play in the background.
There will come a day when I know I will have to change our stockings as we add new members to our family. For now, these stockings remain one of my favorite things to see each year. While they are all identical, when I chose a different monogram for each name to give them a little something special.
One of my fave things to pull out this time of year are the scrapbooks full of the Christmas cards I’ve received over the years! I keep them handy on our built ins so I can peruse and see how everyone has changed as new cards arrive.
I’m so glad I jumped on board several years ago and grabbed this sofa table. It is so fun to decorate and even though it is behind our couch it is something I see as I make the walk back and forth from our bedroom and I love it.
Definitely fell short in finishing this space but we have a tiny touch of Christmas cheer greeting us each evening. Adding the garland to the top of our headboard was a new touch this year.
Decorating this little stand in my breakfast area has become one of my favorite things! I grabbed items I had and added a few new pieces from Hobby Lobby to finish it off. It’s safe to say the candy doesn’t last long around here.
I love this little merry ornament which was used as a napkin ring on a beautifully decorated table for an event I attended recently. The hostess had her daughter write words such as merry, joy, peace, etc on these wood chips. I ordered a pack for myself this past week as I really think these would be adorable on packages.
Not to be left out, I even pulled a little Christmas cheer into the bathroom!
Our guest room, otherwise known as my son Riley’s room as he is most often the one visiting. I grabbed this pillow with my 20% off coupon while I was out this past weekend and guarantee he will get a huge kick out of it when he arrives!
And that’s a wrap (or kimono) for the 2018 Holiday Tour! Be sure to linkup your home tour!
