Mama Needs a Cocktail - Graphic Tee

I happen to know the manager (Hi Kelly) at our local Francesca’s and when she posted this cute t-shirt I knew it would be perfect for an upcoming girls weekend with some of my favorite Mama’s! A graphic tee can be tricky as a mom but I thought these had such a nice touch with the cold shoulder and criss cross design.  Plus they are cut just a little more forgiving; I sized down to a small.  Currently you can grab lots of fun goodies including the new gameday line BOGO 50% off.  Mama Needs a Cocktail - Graphic Tee

I am sure I’ve shown off this clutch before and it is perfect to add a little flair to this outfit.  Even though it is a clutch it is a really large size and perfect for holding all the necessities.  Did I mention it is back in stock?!!  So darn cute I tell ya.  The colors are perfect and I really think it will be able to stretch into fall after seeing some of the fall Pantone colors Gina posted about yesterday!

I’m also showing off two of the keepers from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale.  I ended up keeping these DL1961 black jeans which are currently out of stock and I’m sticking with these neutral booties.  Similar jeans still on sale which I loved are the Paige jeans with a cute hem (splurge) or the Wit and Wisdom black jeans (save) I tried all 3 and ultimately the DL1961 just hit all the right points for me!

So what is this mama’s favorite cocktail?  Well, this summer it has been these watermelon margaritas!  Only 3 ingredients so they are super simple to make and, trust me, so refreshing!

  1. Your graphic tee is so cute, I love all the details that make it so stylish!!! Perfect for a fun night out. So last week you told me about the graphic tee theme and I was all excited and unfortunately I was thinking next Tuesday was the day, dang it all, the 1st snuck up on me – I really need to look at a calendar more often, lol!
    You made a great call on the black jeans, they look terrific on you Shelly!!!

  7. I love a good graphic tee so this was a great theme for this month. Your tee is so fun and unique, need to get it at Francesca’s. Love the jeans and booties you bought from the #NSale and I always love that awesome clutch.

  8. I just ordered 2 graphic tee’s! The one you’re wearing but in grey and “It’s GameDay….” for fresno state football games this season! And while on the Francesca’s sight I realized we have one in the next town over. Who knew. I found one in San Luis Obispo over at the coast this summer. I saw it and thought….hey this is what Shelly always talks about! Love it! Have a great day!

  11. That just might be the cutest graphic tee I’ve ever seen. I love the shoulder cut outs! Are the straps built in or is that one of those cute bralettes? I’ve been thinking about ordering one of those. Love this look. OH and that clutch is the CUTEST. I’m seeing it everywhere!!!

  15. Shelly I love that you kept the black jeans, they look great on you. I would like to find a black pair for Fall. Love the graphic tee! Even though I am a doggy-momma, I can use a cocktail at times! and I do! Love the style as it isnt just a white tee, looks great!
