Game Day Launch!

Living in a college town, game day is a huge part of our fall experience! Of course living in Texas in general means there is lots of hype when it comes to Friday night lights as well. So when Avara offerred to let me pick a few pieces from their Game Day launch it was a no brainer. I’m not always a sequins girl but I felt like this top was a great mix of sparkle with a casual feel. While it is decribed as a sweater, I really feel the material is a very lightweight sweatshirt material. The slight puff too the sleeves is precious and I can definitely see this one making the rounds for my Friday casual work looks with some dark denim or my white jeans. This one does run a little shorter in length but with midrise waist bottoms it was plenty long for me in a medium. And if you sport other team colors, this one comes in red or white with either purple, orange or silver sequin stripe.

Up next is this darling dress! I ordered in a large for a little more length (I’m 5’7″) and you can see it is still a little short. While I don’t think I could make this work for work, I do think I’d be comfortable sporting it to an actual game with some bike shorts underneath. I love that the black works for many school colors. Pop on an accessory in another team color and you’re ready to cheer for anyone! This dress would be precious for a senior high school mom for senior night! I will be packing this one with me for parents weekend at Oklahoma State! It also comes in white and a baby blue.

Love the scallop hem on this top! It is precious! The fabric is light and cool and will work for our hot Texas game days. It will be precious with shorts, a skort, or with jeans. My coworkers are sure to be swooning over this one! It also runs just a tad short but no problem with midrise jeans for me and I grabbed my regular size medium. You can find it in navy as well.

Of course I had to try and order something orange and this dress was the one option I thought would work for me. It is a little more burnt orange than OSU orange but it is absolutely darling! The soft pleats are so fun! I already sported this to work this week and it received so many compliments. It also comes in maroon and purple. The fabric is lightweight and while I wore it with my addidas, I think it would be precious with tall white boots.
