Friday Favorites – Thankful

·
Happy Friday!  I’m coming to you from beautiful San Diego this morning and waking up with this view.
While I would rather be visiting for pleasure and enjoying everything San Diego has to offer, I am thankful my job allows me the opportunity to get away from the office and surround myself with other higher ed business officers.  Stepping away every now and then really allows me to think a little more about ways to improve and that is always something to be thankful for.
We arrived super early on Wednesday and were able to visit Hotel de Coronado.  I feel thankful for the care that has been taken to preserve something so beautiful.  If you ever have the chance to visit the architecture is beautiful.

Always thankful to not have to travel alone!  Almost 22 years since Kelli and I first met and we have definitely learned so much more about higher education than we ever dreamed we would.

This sweet girl helped me out while I was gone by taking care of all my babies including the fur one. Y’all, I am so thankful for this girl and her beauty inside and out.  Those of you still in the thick of raising babies, can I just tell you seeing that little baby you loved on turn into an amazing person is just such a blessing.
I am also thankful someone found my drivers license {in MIAMI} and contacted me through Facebook.  I would love some prayers from all of you that I am able to get back home without much hassle.
Holly and I have been hosting a linkup this month to encourage an Attitude of Gratitude.  I am so thankful for her friendship and thankful how we both dove into the verse we chose and learned so much.   We have had so many inspiring ladies link up with us and for that I am truly thankful.  If it was not for other bloggers and those of you non-bloggers following along, it would really be hard to feel inspired enough to come to this little space every week.
Wishing you all a beautiful weekend!
