Friday Favorites – Reader Picks
It has been fun adding a few new pieces to my fall closet and evidently all you readers feel the same. Here are the items that have been most loved based on clicks and purchases during the month of October.
Wedge sneakers are one of the best inventions in my personal opinion! I love the extra height they give and these are seriously so comfortable. Last year I tried this brand in grey and this year I ordered the camel. So far I have taken them to the ballpark and out shopping and they have proved to be super comfortable. They also come in the leopard pattern and the black which is hard to see but does have a slight snakeskin look. I didn’t even realize they are also water resistant so that is an added perk.
Wear them with regular leggings for Saturday errands are pop on with jeans or a t-shirt dress for a little sportier look. I definitely feel like these are a must in my closet and am really wondering if I also need them in black!
Next up is this little sweater blazer I didn’t know I needed. Price per wear this little piece is doing overtime in my closet right now. I’ve dressed it up for work and down with jeans but also paired with my faux leather leggings. The combos are endless and my only problem is finding a way to wear it multiple days to work without anyone noticing!
It comes in black and animal print as well as a corally orange shade. Really, if you haven’t tried the sweater blazer I’m a fan. It’s a little heavier than a cardigan but not as heavy as a coat so perfect here in Texas!
These booties were part of the Nordstrom anniversary sale but they didn’t receive much hype, All I can tell you is some people missed out! I needed a new pair of animal print booties and I tried multiple different styles and brands but these Dolce Vitas hit all the check boxes. They are so comofrtable, have a back zipper which I love and are just darling. I also kind of love that they are more of a printed leather than calf hair because as much as I love the look of calf hair, they always wear so much faster for me. Lucky for you they are now even cheaper than they were during the Nsale at 60% off!
Peplum is super tricky for me but this little top worked out just right. It has been a top wear on the warmer fall days. Readers loved this top as well as the beautiful jade green top and striped sweater the most of the items I’ve shared.
I showed all these pieces in a Target hightlight on Instagram Stories if you want to see them on. The jade top would be so perfect for the holidays and it allows enough room and length to wear with leggings. The sweater has endless options of prints and solids but I stuck with the stripes!
Obviously the Sephora sale is happening and sadly I’m not at the higher discount levels yet so I am just getting to add a few items to my cart. These 3 products are ones I’ve used and loved and have heard from others they love them too so I’m tossing them in here as well.
I’ve tried several different eyebrow methods for the last several years and I continually come back to this Goofproof pencil by Benefit because, well, it’s goof proof!
The wonderglow primer is a more recent favorite but it is the first primer I have had real success with. The beauty of it is it is also slightly tinted so there are times on the weekend when I can get away with only wearing the primer.
Concealers become a bigger issue as you get older due to crepey skin under the eyes. I’ve been using this one for about 6 months and I’m really happy with it. A little goes A LONG way and it doesn’t matte up in all the cracks. 🙂
We are heading to Houston today to watch a little baseball scrimmage! They have finally started allowing parents in which makes my heart so happy. It’s perfect weather for some baseball!
Hope you all have a beautiful Friday!
