Friday Favorites – Loving Now

We are a family divided this week which isn’t always my favorite but we are trying to make the most of it. While Carly and I are in Florida for dance, Keith and Dillon just made it to Atlanta for baseball. I think this is the longest Keith and I will be apart in the last 18 years!

Riley leaves to meet up with the Corpus Christi Hooks tomorrow in Amarillo and my sweet Jordan is holding it all together on the home front with my Dutch Buddy.

So I’m going to try and think about all the things I’m loving now instead of how much I’m kind of missing my dog. 🙂

These girls have worked so hard since last August perfecting their dances! So excited to have them named as 1 of 5 studios now competing for studio of the year. Performing again today and sending them all the goodluck! Hopefully my dance mom game is on point because on Wednesday I put her eyelashes on backwards. Oopsie.

This sweet lady drove to spend the afternoon with me and I could not have been happier to see her! We had the best time chatting in real time but honestly I feel like hardly any time has passed since I saw her in Nashville last October. The Marco Polo app has definitely helped us stay in touch and feel like we are “together” every day. Kellyann you are a gem and I am thankful for your friendship!

Y’all know I shared my Roadtrip Faves last Friday but I had zero clue I would have another so soon! I’ve totally trashed Siri and traded her for the Waze app, or Wanda as we have named her. I definitely recommend giving it a whirl the next time you are needing directions.

Before we left for our roadtrip I had a hair appointment scheduled for color but the dang electricity went out at the salon and I could not find a way to fit in another day. This shampoo I bought a month ago has been my saving grace lately. It has kept my blonde looking fresh with no brasiness at all. It’s the first time I’ve tried a purple shampoo and I’m a fan!

And all good dance competitions include a mom who needs a drink! I love this grapefruit vodka mixed with just a la croix grapefruit flavor and a twist of lime. It tasted amazing on a hot Florida day after a week of heat!

While everything might be bigger in Texas, it’s definitely hotter in Florida right now! We have had fun but I will not be sad to head back home.
