Friday Favorites – LBD Sales

Happy Friday! I woke up today with a big fat sinus headache but think I’m going to be able to pull it together and salvage the day heading into what is a long weekend for most of you. Would you believe in all my years working for Texas A&M labor day has never been a holiday? Well, those who have to work on holidays can still win by shopping the sales!

Here are a few items I have either grabbed recently or absolutely love that are on sale and I don’t want you to miss out!

If you have spent even a minute reading the blog you know I LOVE these wedges. Evidence can be found here, here, here…shall I continue? I first purchased last year at full price in the color shown here and then stalked the heck out of them hoping for a sale and grabbed the grey this last spring. They are now 60% off in lots of colors and I’m trying to decide if I need one more pair.

This skirt is not on sale but it has been one of my favorite new purchases. It has been easy to dress up or down and has just the right amount of flow. It is definitely a win! I paired with one of my favorite new tanks which I grabbed in this olive and a great orange both perfect for layering this fall.

The Nsale frustrated me this year due to how fast everything sold out so I really never shared my wins. HOWEVER, they are trying to make amends it appears and many of the items from the sale are marked down again. One thing I needed was a pair of nude heels that could be dressed up or worn with jeans. This pair I’ve been eyeing forever because my friend Emily raves about them. I can attest…they have been on major repeat over here and I love them! They come in tons of different colors and patterns and are really comfy.

My camera has been in the shop so I haven’t even been able to show off myself wearing these wedge sneakers. I stalked them during the Nsale and on the very last day my size came avaialable. Well, they are restocked and on sale again and I LOVE them. I have worn with and without socks and both ways have been so comfortable.

And let’s just be honest, we all feel better in our clothes when we finally find an undergarment that works well. Thankfully my blog bestie Lisa got me hooked on these panties when we were on our Nashville trip. Every time there is a sale I grab more and I think this time I will actually be able to say I’m only wearing this brand. I have a big booty and my biggest struggle has always been finding a panty that stays put. Literally in high school once my boyfriends mom asked me if I was going to the movies because I was “picking my seat”. These panties have been worth the splurge for me and the sale makes it a great time to try them.

Also, quick prayer request for my sweet friend Holly who lost her daddy this week. Will you all lift her up especially tonight and tomorrow. It’s been a tough few weeks and she needs all the comfort coming her way!
