Friday Favorites – Friends & Family
Friday once again and I’m sharing some random faves from the week of my friends and family!
Riley had an off day and swung through town to have a quick dinner with his family! Baby sister and Keith were missing but I was super happy to have these 3 all to myself for a little catching up.
If you have been around here much you know we have quite the framily situation with our besties the McBertys. Well this week we did what framilys do best and assisted them with their busier than normal schedule and ran their girls around to dance, art and volunteering to help out. These two had zero complaints about seeing each other a little more!
Last week on my Friday Favorites I shared some pictures of Keith and I from this past year along with a link to 15 Tips for Building a Stronger Marriage. We celebrated 18 years on August 3rd and were tempted to just lay on the couch and eat pizza but decided we would start year 19 off strong! Instead we got dressed up and headed to our favorite Italian restaurant. I’m excited to see where this year takes us.
And this guy is as much a part of our family as anyone and he’s definitely a big momma’s boy! He has been missing me this summer as I’ve been away from home more than usual. He tries to make up for it by being as close as he can to me when I sit still.
Lastly, I’ve made the switch to Beauty Counter and what kind of friend would I be if I didn’t share with YOU?!! The Friends and Family sale is going on now with a 15% discount on most items. There are some exclusions on regimen sets and the new Counter Time products but still lots to choose from if you have been interested in trying out the products.
In May I tried my first products and loved them enough to hop on board in July just before the launch of Counter Time. I am just beginning this journey to learning about the safer products for my family and this was an easy swtich after reading the never list. I’d love to answer any questions you might have or have you hop on over and take the skin care quiz for yourself.
As much as I considered a fun weekend away, I have opted to let the boys go fishing alone so I can tackle school supply shopping with Carly Jo and attempt to get our life in order and ready to start school next week. What do you have planned this weekend?
Happy Friday!
