Friday Favorites – Good Friday
Friday again? I am excited to have an afternoon off to hang out with my kids. We are heading to the movie to finally see Cinderella! Looking forward to a fun weekend. Here are some of my favorites!

It would not be Good Friday without my very favorite thing of the week being my salvation. I spent so much of my life feeling like I had screwed up too big to ever be able to earn my way back into God’s grace. How grateful was I the day I walked into just the right service to find out that’s not how it works. Jesus suffered and died for all our sins. There is no more beautiful gift. If you have not asked Jesus to live in your heart my prayer for you is that you find yourself in a service on Easter Sunday that speaks to you and that you will feel the love of Jesus, maybe even for the first time, and you will ask Him into your life. I promise you this, no matter what trials you face in life you will never have to walk through them alone again. I love this post by Kelly @ Kelly’s Korner that really leads you through the next steps after accepting Jesus.

Bluebonnets! Spring in Texas means bluebonnets lining the roadway and covering pastures with a sea of blue. Some years they are more vibrant than others but it is always one of my very favorite times of the year. I am hoping to snap some pictures of my Littles this weekend maybe even in their Easter clothes. Here are some pictures from bluebonnets past!

J. Crew Factory is having a 50% off sale and since we have already established I do NOT need any more clothes (especially shorts!) I did a little shopping for Carly Jo. She has been blessed with my shape and it is so hard finding clothes that she likes that also fit well. I’m hoping some of these do the trick!
Beach Cover Up ||Swimsuits||Skort
Striped Dress||Pink Gingham Dress||Skirt
Navy Striped Shorts||Floral Tank||Pink Pattern Shorts

And if you still need a few things for spring you can shop for you here!

Brunch! I absolutely love to have brunch. We will be attending the early service at church before having friends and family over for brunch. I’ve been trying to narrow down the menu but there have been so many options I just haven’t decided which direction I want to go! Here are some of the items I’m considering. Carly Jo has requested a cereal bar…the girl looks at Pinterest way too much!

I began a fitness challenge at my gym and decided I would start a series this month to pass along tips on healthy eating, weightloss, workouts and just living a healthy life. This has been a battle for me most of my life and I am so excited about sharing with any of you who may be struggling in this area. So look for my new series next week.

I can't wait to see what you do for brunch. I LOVE bluebonnets and can't wait to have some babies so they can have their picture in the bluebonnets. I look forward to reading about your fitness challenge.
Have a great Easter!
Thanks Julie! I am super excited about sharing.
I'm looking forward to your Fit for a Queen series. I'm guessing we're about the same age, and it just isn't fun keeping the weight off. I think you look fabulous in all the pictures you post so I'm hoping I can pick up some tips 🙂
You are too sweet Coreline! I'm so excited about sharing.
LOVE! And can we talk about my love for bluebonnets! I squealed with I saw the first glimpse of them a few weeks ago! It's hard to beat spring time in Texas!!!
My favorite bluebonnet pix ever of Colby….with the cowboy hat when he was like 2?
Those bluebonnets are gorgeous!!! I have been wanting to try the ham sliders and the donuts skewers for awhile! Was honestly thinking Easter would be a great time! 😉
I'm thinking the ham sliders would work perfectly….I've never done brunch for Easter only ham for lunch so I'm thinking it fits well.
Hoppy Easter! Hope you have a fabulous weekend and enjoy Cinderella today! Tony and I are going to see Home later on today and we will probably be the only people in there without kids! Story of our empty nester life I guess!!! LOL Looking forward to your new fitness series! Its something a battle every single day!
Happy Easter to you too Kim! Cinderella was so good…I seriously had tears. What a beautiful love story!
I am moving to Austin this Summer with my fiance and I have been seeing so many pictures of the bluebonnets! They are gorgeous! I can't wait to experience them for myself.
