Floral Kimono – Style Six
We have been off enjoying a short vacation and summer in full swing over here but I’m back today to share this fun floral kimono I picked up on my trip! I have been looking for a couple of new kimonos to add to my rotation but just had not happened upon a style or pattern I fell in love with. Enter this little floral cutie I found on a rainy morning while we were in Virginia and I was sold!
The pattern gave me a funky 70s vibe so I couldn’t wait to pair it with my flared black jeans. The sleeves are just so flowy and fun and I managed to even keep them out of my lunch! Ha! I have already thought of so many ways to wear this kimono and think I need to try belting it too. If a shorter kimono is more your style, this one comes in a ton of patterns some as low as $12!
It’s been raining so much here and squeezing in pictures has been a challenge. We popped out after a brief little storm to grab these pics and it was so darn steamy! Sadly, I didn’t realize my camera lens kept fogging up. My photographer, aka Carly Jo, is typically my biggest critic so when she told me I looked relaxed I knew that was a positive. Typically she’s telling me how fake my smile is! Isn’t it crazy how an outfit can make you just feel so much yourself that everything comes easier? This outfit apparently did that for me!
So try to ignore the slightly grainy pictures and just pay attention to my “real” smile! Grab a look you feel confident and comfortable in and link up today with Style Six!
