Floral & Camo – Style Six

First up, thanks to all of you who linked up with the first Style Six last week! We were just so excited and can’t wait to see the looks for week two. Maybe there will even be some pattern mixing like this floral & camo look I pulled together!

Do you struggle with pattern mixing? Five years ago this would not even have crossed my mind but I love finding wasy to use what I have in my closet. Camo is honestly one of those patterns that I feel can be used as a neutral.

The secret to pattern mixing is really in the balance of the patterns. Because this camo is fairly muted it was easy to add a bolder floral on top. Just to show off I mixed in a pop of leopard and honestly I think it’s my favorite part to balancing this mix!

Any of these pieces could be a basic fall staple in my opinion. The pants can be worn a multitude of ways for work or play. Florals can be so fun in the fall especially when they pull in such amazing fall colors like rusty orange, mustard yellow and olive green, This top is definitely one of my faves!
