Flirty Skirt – Spring Style
Who doesn’t love a flirty little skirt for spring? My biggest challenge with skirts is finding a length that is work appropriate and a fit that flatters. A pencil skirt would have been my go to in my younger years but these days an a-line skirt is a bit more realistic.
When I saw this pattern I decided I had to give this skirt a twirl! The fun floral is perfect for spring and summer and this top was already in my closet. Did I mention, this little skirt has pockets?!!!
Since the skirt was available in tall length I ordered in both regular and tall to try. The difference was very slight but enough that the tall worked better to create a length I felt super comfortable with even for the office. While I’m not super tall at 5’7″, I do have long legs and a short upper body so skirts and dresses tend to appear too short at times.
Of course my fave wedges have definitely been seeing lots of sidewalk time since the weather has heated up. Even though they are a higher heel, I have found them to be super comfortable. They come in several colors and a new super cute animal print! I’m also crushing on the snakeskin in a slightly lower heel.
Adding a little pattern mix with this striped clutch gives it a little punch. I’ve also worn this skirt with a striped tee and a cardigan which was equally as adorable.
The office tends to get chilly even in the summer months but that’s an easy fix with a denim jacket or even a blazer for a more polished look.
This flirty skirt has so many possibilities to be dressed up or down and I definitely think it will be on repeat all summer long!
