Five on Friday – Colorful Finds

The month has just started but our calendar is already full!  Is there some unwritten handbook somewhere with instructions to stuff ALL THE THINGS into May?  The kids are done, the teachers are done, I’m trying to get all the things done!  So much fun but darn it do we have to cram it all into 31 days?

The highlight is so many things this month are full of color and I’m going to work to also keep my attitude bright!  Today I’m sharing a few colorful favorites I’ve fun across recently.  I’m also hosting Friday Loves over at The Blended Blog so if you are into Cinco de Mayo you definitely want to hop on over to see my roundup!

I’m loving this easy summer tee!  I feel like I could push this one with jeans and my fave open front cardi for casual Friday at work too.

If you read my Ageless Style post this week you saw one of my favorite maxi dresses of all time!  It’s been awhile since I’ve added a new one to my closet but when I saw this one in rainbow stripes I decided to give it a whirl.  So fun right?

And I know this is kind of cheating to show this to you twice in one week, but I am seriously crushing on this tote from Mexi Mexi!  My friend purchased one and filled with a beach towel and some other fun summer stuff for a birthday gift.  I’m thinking it would make a super graduation present!

I’ve been working to spruce up our outdoor space and there are tons of sales going on right now for patio furniture!  I love this cute pillow and there are so many more to choose from with 20% off all outdoor.   The patio sale at Target is offering an extra 15% off through Sunday on top of the 25% already offered.  World Market’s friends and family sale is also in full swing with 30% off not only patio furniture but THE ACCENT TABLE you will find in so many homes including mine!

Brene Brown is full of colorful quotes and this one is no exception.  I read this take away this week on Linked In and I have to say I wholeheartedly agree.  Regrets are part of life and I cannot say I have no regrets but I choose not to live there.  Those pieces of my past have taught me so much which help me move forward to a better future.

So that’s it for me!  We are looking at rain in the forecast today but the rest of the weekend is forecast to be full of sunshine.  We will be on the road for 7 on 7 football again on Saturday and then wrap up the weekend with a mother/daughter tea for our first event as part of a new organization.  I’ll try to remember to actually document our fun!

Have a super weekend!
