Fall Transition Piece
When I grabbed this easy tank dress earllier this summer, I had zero clue what a great fall transition piece it would be. For the month of August, I’ve really been trying to wear my closet and toss anything that I don’t absolutelly love wearing. Guess what? This dress isn’t going anywhere!
While my exact dress is sold out, I found this option which comes in a variety of colors including black. In Texas, we will still be fighting the heat for the foreseeable future so having a piece like this that I can add some fall accents to and embrace the season while stilll staying cool is always a win.
If you could peek in my closet you would quickly find I have a problem saying no to plaid shirts. Old Navy always has some of the best patterns and colors to choose from. Mine is from last year but I may have already ordered this one!
Y’all know me and my friend Kellyann preached and preached about the Walmart blazer for months and adding it on top of this dress may be my new favorite! Of course a fall transition piece every closet needs is a denim button down. Whether you pop on over a dress or with a tee and shorts, it’s so versatile with all different shades in your closet. They truly never go out of style!
I won’t be packing away my animal print sandals (similar pair here) anytime soon, but I will be chomping at the bit to start wearing these wine colored booties! I have them in a slightly different style and a tan color from last year and wore them like crazy. So excited I picked them up during the Nsale!
Fall is definitely one of my fave seasons to use my closet and create new looks. I am confident this dress as a fall transition piece is going to see lots of action! So may ways to dress it up or down for work or play. Do you have an item that is your fave to wear to transition to fall?
