Fall Home Tour + TBB Linkup
We have been doing a little renovating over here but I finally pulled out a few fall touches around the house. Grab some coffee and come inside and then be sure to linkup and share your fall home with The Blended Blog!
We blended a little wicked with a little sweet for this time of year! It was a little different pulling together the decor with our new colors but I’m loving the simpler look. See our previous Halloween touches and fall decor.
I needed a little taller items for the mantel and it is always a challenge to figure out what to fill these vases with. I’m loving how the plastic skulls and a simple bag of candy corn created this look.
Styling bookshelves is not my strong suit and I really tried to just add a few touches but keep it fairly simple and clean feeling.
Our entry hall is a work in progress at the moment as I’m searching for new wallpaper but it needed a little fall feel and I’m happy with how this came together.
Currently burning the Bath & Body scent Vanilla Pumpkin Marshmallow and it has our house smelling super yummy. One of my besties gifted me this plate probably 10 years go and I still love pulling it out every year.
These placemats were my only new addition and I’m absolutely crazy about them! Everything else I used this year was already in my stash so yea me! Still thinking I should order the runner to match my placemats for the buffet in my entry hall.

What a lovely home you have! I loved getting a tour and those placemats are great! I love ANY reminder that reminds me to be thankful!
Thank you! We have been working really hard to update our paint and a few other things that have been on the list forever. Really loving the results!
Beautiful! Not much decorating in my neck of the woods with the house build, just hoping we are in for Christmas, my favorite to decorate for. Adore that banner and GREAT placemats find!!
It was definitely an after thought around here Andrea. Feeling kind of glad though…I’m kind of liking the whole less is more idea. You are going to have so much fun with your new house!
Maybe I can catch this link up one day this week. You know me, always running behind the bus waving my arms trying to get on…LOL. For someone who considers herself pretty organized, I can’t seem to get my blog on board. I don’t know why you always say you can’t style shelves. You do an awesome job. Your new colors look amazing and I’m like you, I love the simple, clean look these days. How did I not know you could turn that glass and iron thingy upside down? Duh! Happy Monday!
Lol….girl I feel you! I am organized but I am a procrastinator deluxe. Having a break last week was really nice for sure! I was a Southern Living consultant and somewhere along the way an upline must have shown me that trick!
I love your new colors and your simple holiday decor. One of my goals this year is to simplify and purge my holiday supplies and only keep what I REALLY like and enjoy. The decor needs to change as we move from little kids to big! Have a wonderful week!
Pretty sure I’ve been over doing it for a long time and it felt really good to have this chance to re-evaluate! Can’t wait to follow along and see how your house turns out!
I absolutely love the blending of wicked and fall-ish stuff! Looks fantastic!
Thank you! It is always fun pulling this stuff out every year but I’m definitely feeling good about keeping it a little simpler.
LOVE this. I totally agree with Deena too. The blend you have going on is perfection.
Thanks mam! Hope you are having a beautiful week Beth.
Hi Queen Bee! I loved this! Trully, what an inspiration!
Well thank you so much Tiffiney!
Everything looks great! I went with the less is more approach this year and used more neutral colors.
I’m really just all about it Heather…..now let’s see if I can hold to that at Christmas. I know I typically go way over board and I’m just thinking maybe I will enjoy it so much more if it’s not so much work!
Everything looks so beautiful! I actually JUST decorated for Fall and Halloween on Sunday night. I am so behind this year!
Me too Stefanie! We had all our main living spaces painted recently and mercy…..that had me all kinds of crazy! But I was ready for a few little touches this past weekend.
Oh my gosh! Will you please come decorate my house for fall?! I love how you have little touches spread throughout but it’s definitely not cheesy! I always worry about adding too much cheese when I decorate for the holidays.
Haha….well truth be told I really do think I have had way too much in the past and the freshly painted house has me rethinking alot of things!!
You did such a fabulous job! Thanks for sharing with us!

Thank you Lauren! Happy Friday!
I do love those plastic skulls with the candy corn; what a cute combo. I think it all looks wonderful.
Thank you! I’m all about finding something easy! I love using cheap stuff to fill those vases…one of my other favorites for fall is deer corn or popcorn kernels. 🙂
This is gorgeous! You have fantastic style. I’m going to have to pin this one for sure! 🙂
Thank you Laura! I so don’t feel like I am very good at this but the key for me is choosing things that make me happy.
I am definitely saving this, I love how you decorated everything! I love the candle holder next to the trick or treat sign!
Laura, I was once a Southern Living consultant and I have so much home decor stuff I love from them. I was super sad when they went out of business.
I love it all Shelly! With all our renovation stuff happening we haven’t done a single thing to decorate. Of course living in a home of all men no one cares but ME! HA! The good news is it will be done in time for all the Christmas decor!

Ha! I actually mentioned that I might not decorate for Christmas this year and Dillon was the one that was like what?!! So I think if we just let it all go they would miss it eventually. 🙂 Hope you are staying sane…I’m seriously ready to be done!! All we will have left now is the ceiling, walls and woodwork in the 4 bedrooms. We’ll see how long it takes me to add anything back to the walls!
